In this DCS World Simulator video I'm showing the basics of BVR (Beyond Visual Range) fight. Hope you guys enjoy!
I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthog , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.

F-15 is by far my favorite module in DCS and in my opinion the best in the game for BVR

@@Rockethead293F-15C simply because the flight performance is better, and I like to be able to aggressively push my enemies into submission. The F-15C imo is like the F-16C and Su-27 has a baby, flight performance is amazing and the missile capacity and radar are fantastic. Though the F-15E’s radar is just absolutely NUTTY! And with the Aim-120D mod you can do some funky stuff, but usually at those distances I would just put in the jammer and screw with anything I decide to give long range missiles to

It also proves the "prepare for the worst" mindset, because it actually happened here (the bandit was recommit faster, shoot missile earlier than you and defeated your missile).

I think that since he was slower, he was able to make tighter turns to recommit faster than you. And also, the missile's radars have tight detection arcs, if you make them lead too much when they're too close, you get outside the cone and they lose track.

I believe there was a malfunction in the game itself, I don't understand how the Mig 29 could avoid 3 missiles with those valid launch parameters, so close and so fast.

The mig wasn’t recommitting super fast. He never went cold. He just got lucky. He was just jinking from side to side while keeping his nose somewhat hot. I don’t think he turned cold once. I’ve never seen someone do that and not get instantly smoked. It was just pure luck.

Ok, I don’t wanna be THAT guy but, history says otherwise Alright I’m sorry but I will say if the 29 had a crossover with su-35 it’d be god tier both jets have something they lack that is key for BVR. The F-15 shares both qualities, minus the avionics as the F-15C we have in DCS seems a bit less advanced than some of its irl counterparts and on a side note the 29 got real lucky in this video
