Ok i made an oopsie and wanna clarify. It is not 1% power drain with nothing happens it is 0.1%, 1% power drain every 3 seconds means by 3am u are dead.

I finally understood it. So, power still drains every 9.6 seconds, but from Night 2 some penalties were added On Night 2, 0.1% of power will drain 6 seconds (1.5% every hour, 1% every 60 seconds) On Night 3, 0.1% of power will drain 5 seconds (1.8% every hour, 1% every 50 seconds) On Night 4, 0.1% of power will drain 4 seconds (2.25% every hour, 1% every 40 seconds) On Night 5+, 0.1% of power will drain 3 seconds (3% every hour, 1% every 30 seconds)

I adore how fnaf 1 actually made Freddy seem like a boss battle or some incredibly dangerous entity, gives him a reason for the game to be named after him, along with the fact he never does anything until night 3 too bad every game after pretty much made him Bonnie/Chica 2.0

It's freaky how Freddy becomes more noticable the closer he gets. From glowing pinpoint eyes, to hearing his music, to vaguely seeing his face in the darkness, to seeing him right up at the camera.

Hey, great vid man! Another useful fact about Foxy is that he only hums when he is in stage 0 (curtains fully closed). So in 4/20 mode, to save power, if you hear Foxy's hum you don't have to check what stage he is in immediately.

Correction/clarification on the power drain per night. The power always decreases by at least 0.1% every second. On night 2 and onward, the power will decrease additionally in the same intervals you mentioned by .1%, not a base power drain of 1% total over that interval. If it was how you described it (1%/3s on night 5) you'd run out of power doing nothing before 4AM. So basically on night 5+ your power drains by an extra .1% every three seconds compared to night 1, so with the monitor lowered and no doors closed or lights on it drains about 33% faster.

Also, correction on Golden Freddy's chances to spawn. His chance to appear on the poster every second is actually 1/32,768 because his chance of moving is assigned to a 16-bit unsigned integer (which can only go up to 65,535 and overflows to just over 34,000) and because of bias in the RNG function, so he is over 30 times as common as he is supposed to be. This is also why he doesn't appear in the mobile port on 1.85 and earlier (pre-remaster), because it's assigned to a 16-bit signed integer and overflows to a negative value, which the RNG function will never pull. Also, because of the same integer overflow, he should have a 1/16,960 (not accounting for bias) chance to appear on a game over, and if this feature is programmed into the pre-remaster mobile port, then it shouldn't change, and as a result, this is over 50 times more common as well.

Is it just me, or does the power not add up? You have to survive for 8 minutes and 55 seconds, or just 535 seconds with 100% power. If you do the math you have one power you can use every 5.35 seconds, but several of the nights aparently have it passivly drain faster than that? Edit: should have checked the comments, someone else commented the same thing as well as what actually happens
