Hello I lived in the US for the last 20 years from a "Francophone" country in Africa. I drove Taxi in Chicago for at least 9 years. I've never met an American who told me he/she understood or knew what The French Rulers since General Charles De Gaulle were doing in Africa for the last 60 years +;The same thing they fought during the 2nd World War: Nazism+ (a new form of slavery+ Predation on natural resources). When I try to brief them a bit, most Americans ask me: how come we have never heard of this before? My usual reply is: maybe because you don't speak French like me. That is why the account given in English by such a prominent figure as the 1st Representative of the African Union in the US is well acclaimed in Francophone Countries in Africa and in the Diaspora but it hurts so bad in the west. Dr. Arikana Chihombori has opened wide the Pandora box which allows masses in the West to question what their governments were doing in Africa then and now?

WOW!!! Can you imagine all the people who suffered and had to go without because those policies? That same type of thing is happening all over Africa because of the IMF and World Bank. You should see the interest rates on a lot of those loans. They are disproportionately a lot higher for African countries than they are for other countries.
