Very cool story! The trials and tribulations are always good to hear. We all struggle in life, some more than others, but not giving up and fighting on for what you love is a lesson that needs taught to many! Thanks for sharing Wheeler!!

Thanks for posting Fred's story, It is truly inspirational. I can relate, I can't tell how many time my boat broke down, you think you've got it fixed and almost didn't get back to the ramp before the trolling motor battery died. I have had to wade and push my boat through shallow water to save the battery for deeper water just to get back to the ramp. Hard to make money when you are getting hit hard like that, but somehow you just keep trying, hoping and waiting until your break comes.

What a great story, I always knew boom boom came up thru the school of hard knocks, I remember him winning his first elite and the emotions thank just can’t be held back when you accomplish something you worked so hard for This is what fishing is missing today, the molding of the anglers. Fred roumbanis, you will always be one of the greats!!!!

Killer story! I remember my son and I meeting Fred at a weigh in. I also remember we were walking by Fred prior to weigh in and I told my son there is Boom Booom. Evidently Fred heard me say that and turned and nodded at us. Anyway we talk to him later on and such a great dude.

Great stories! You need to do a series of these with other pro's. Freddy? I met him at the Original Bassfest on the Chick- the one that Jacob won! Fred was one of the nicest pro anglers I've Ever met. He was enthusiastic about devoting his full attention to the fans. He deserves any success that may blow his way.

This should definitely launch a new series for your channel. I knew of Fred through his Dobyns sponsorship but didn’t know about him. New series ‘arriving with Anglers’ or something like that.
