Nothing and everything is personal in business dynasties. Families are bound together or pushed apart as patriarchs and matriarchs lead the way, or let others take the fall. Business is just business. But a name is everything.

Looks like with all narratives whether it deals with the annals of the world or the personal lives of the people living in the specific millennial periods: you can influence peoples views by shaping the story to fit your ideology. Looks like _Absolute History_ isn't much different in this regards as it allows itself to be moved by subjectivity.

They said within the first few minutes that Fred built a string of hotels, etc. in the west. Fred Trump's father was NOT from Austria, NOR were his ancestors, and he was NOT a draft dodger. Hundreds of thousands of young German men came to the USA between 1850 - 1930, my grandfather among them. Initially, I thought he had come to avoid military service, too, but later realized it was far more about work opportunities and the ever present Marxist chaos than anything else. If you read the political history of Germany during that time period, you'll see what I'm talking about. Remember, Marx published the Communist Manifesto in 1848. He came to live in New York City immediately afterward to help formate the Civil War. The Marxist agenda has been heavily propagated throughout the western hemisphere for over 200 years, with very little understanding of what was really going on, by the general populace of the infested countries. When I say "infested", I mean just exactly that. The international cabal are nothing but parasites and that's what they have been for thousands of years. Do a deep study on the Danites/Canaanites > the Phoenicians/Venetians > the Black Nobility > the Illuminati > the international banking cabal > New World Order, etc. Marx came to the USA about 1850 - when did we figure it all out? Hollywood began with Vaudeville. What was Vaudeville?

Fred was a builder, NOT a dealer in flesh. He built hotels, etc. In the gold rush days everywhere in the west, including Alaska, hotels almost always included saloons and brothels, mostly because of the mentality of miners and the lack of women in the "gold mining camps". I grew up in an old west gold rush mining town, so I know EXACTLY what they were all about. Fred Trump BUILT the hotels for other people - he did NOT supply the people who worked in them. There's a vast amount of difference. My father was a builder, too. He built the buildings for a ski slope and the retirement home for the owner of a saw mill, but he didn't own or operate the ski slope, nor did he own or operate the saw mill. It blows my mind at how stupid and gullible people can really be. Such people have to REALLY hate the truth to fall for such ridiculous stories - lies, in reality.

It's my opinion that today most large corporations don't know the value nor how to create a brand, people become loyal to. In durable goods it is appreciating dependability or value. Once people develop a loyalty towards a brand they will make excuses for it's weaknesses for a time, remaining loyal. A company can drop the ball on it's core reason people values it's products or servives for a time before it catches up with them. At one time people at general motors used to brag they could put 4 wheels on a tin can and people would buy one. Sears used to have a loyal customer base. What did these people running the companies do wrong?
@ramsessevenone416
@ramsessevenone416 3 жыл бұрын
This is how I would explain it. One word: *Overhead.* You can make a product and charge a certain price that meets your profit/loss capabilities pretty easy in the early stages, when you are small. But as your business grows, so does your overhead costs. While buying materials in bulk may save you money ....salaries, healthcare, benefits, rent, capital & capital gains taxes, etc. will add up and cost you more. So in order to compensate and save money, a lot of companies sacrifice quality of materials over the success of the company. It is basically a lose-lose situation when it comes to PR. If they just let the company go bankrupt, then they have a bad reputation. If they decrease the quality of the product in order to save on overhead (including workers wages and benefits,) they get hammered for "*Trying to rip consumers off with an inferior product*"

I talked to executives at a few corporate companies several years ago. Their biggest mistake was listening to kids straight out of college, who had all been indoctrinated in how to cause a comoany to fail, that is, they thought they had learned the fastest way to massive profits. Everyone of them went bankrupt within 5 yrs. I've often wondered if the owners/CEOs also went bankrupt or if they came out with a profit of billions.

@@fuerstinhuhn9828 these are usually management decisions. Another problem big corporations have is the decision makers are so far removed from the customer.
@fuerstinhuhn9828
@fuerstinhuhn9828 3 жыл бұрын
@@jpp9876 They ARE management decisions - the management chooses to believe wrong advise and the decision-makers are EXTREMELY out of touch with their customers. A major case in point is Alco-Duckwall - their headquarters is/was in southern Texas, so they would send winter products to the stores throughout the country in December, but in the northern parts of the USA, Dec. was too late. By that time, the northern populations had bought their winter needs (clothes, coats, blankets, etc) from other stores in their area. Store managers AND their customers in the north were very frustrated with this mentality. The man I talked to told me they were going to continue with this policy. Needless to say, they had to declare bankruptcy within 5 yrs. after I had this discussion with the man who made these kind of decisions, which meant they had to close hundreds of their stores. For our community, that was a great loss. Alco-Duckwall was one of the companies I called on this problem. Another bad decision was made by a local communications company. Black Hills Power and Light developed the fiber optic system for internet, etc. Once perfected, they sold the technology to another company in a southeastern state, with the stipulation in the contract that they wouldn't exploit its affordability by NOT raising the prices on the services it made possible. They raised the prices anyway. A few years later, that company sold the technology to another company, with the very same stipulation. I talked to the regional manager, who was, both, responsible for the sales AND raising the prices still more! He told me, with great excitement, that the reason the prices had gone up was because they were buying a number of sports channels, which were very expensive. I told him, "I have no interest in sports....and neither does anyone in my immediate family." There was a very long pause - I thought he'd hung up on me; then he asked me, very slowly, timidly, and in a much softer voice, "What do you like?" I said, "Documentaries, especially concerning history, archaeology, science, etc." "Well.....where do you get those?" "History Channel, Discover channel, etc." Another long pause. I don't remember the rest of the conversation, which took place about 15 yrs. ago, but it was very clear to me that he didn't have any imagination for someone NOT liking sports. He just wanted to get off the phone as quickly as he could. About 6 mos. later, I dropped the cable portion of my account with them - I just couldn't afford it anymore. Today, I've discovered MANY other people, who did the very same thing AND for the very same reason. Cable priced themselves out of hundreds of thousands of customers. Was that smart business for them? HELL, NO!!!! Have they learned their lesson? HELL, NO!!!!

@@fuerstinhuhn9828 I have no understanding why people put up with cable. I used to be hooked on a few shows. But to pay for them plus endure so many minutes of commercials is wasteful. It's the commercials and length of them that keeps me away from cable.

The title of this video should be changed. This had next to nothing to do about Fred Trump, and mostly has to do with a wide range of familie dynasties. How is this the "absolute history" about the subject matter that the title suggests it to be?
@corryjookit7818
@corryjookit7818 Жыл бұрын
#AdamShepherd You didn't read the title correctly, since it very noticeably had the word DYNASTIES right there in a spot you can't miss. It's in the PLURAL, denoted by the S at the end ie more than one. Each Dynasty mentioned was short although admittedly it didn't have much to go on, and because Trump had become President, there was an awful lot that had to be left out, in fact most of Trump's life. Donald Trump was born into money and was a millionaire aged 3, yes he was THREE. Fred Trump used the Tax codes in this way throughout his life. Donald went to school in a chauffeur driven car. Fred Trump left Donald Trump enough money that even if he'd just Banked it for years he would have become a very wealthy man. A multi-millionaire, hut mostly, because he wasn't a good businessman, Trump spaffed it up a wall. Whoever heard of a Casino going broke, but Trump's did, all of them. It's not as if the Trumps are known for their philanthropic ways, quite the reverse. Think,.. the SCAM that was Trump University .Unlike the Rockafella Dynasty which was always philanthropic. There you are, I've said a lot, all true. There's books, there's documentaries on KZbin too, go enjoy ! I can recommend the work of a New York journalist who's knowledge of Trump was and still is unequalled, Wayne Barrett . He knew Trump from the 1970s . Absolute History is the name of the show, not a claim about each Dynasty.

@@grant0617 Fascism is the fusion of state and corporate entities. It is the current state of affairs. The Parler drama showed us that, as did the Hunter Biden story. Inconsequential that we have evidence of Hunter being a crackhead? Perhaps... but all stops were pulled to prevent the people from deciding for themselves. Just because something agrees with one's political sensibilities doesn't mean you shut off your ability to discern propaganda from relevant shit.
