Beefeater Bombay. Tanqueray, and plymouth are all respectable spirits. Enjoy them all for their distinct personalities, and like most Scotch drinkers, don't be afraid to try something different!

Always a safe choice when mixing a martini. Try it 5/1 ratio of gin to dry [preferably Dolin] vermouth.

I used to like Bombay Sapphire, but after sampling Beefeater, Brokers and Bulldog dry gins I would not touch B S again if you offered me a case gratis. Then, there is Plymouth, which is the wombat's nickers. It's brilliant.

That's gin for you. It's basically flavoured vodka. You mightn't have been impressed but Beefeater is one of the reliable and enjoyable brands. You want humour and passion, buy yourself a copy of Big Titties monthly. You want a decent quality, nicely priced gin, you can do a lot worse than Beefeater.
