Hey Davin, why do you shake your hold while twisting the ribs? I’ve seen other do the same trick but only while the twist is completed and the shake it to check for center. Maybe it’s worth trying both ways if you haven’t yet. Great video as always!

You know, I never noticed I did that! Lol! I think it's just the way I twist: in one spot rather than twisting while rolling down the bench. Maybe it's a way of grabbing the glass so the twist happens faster. Pretty sure I used to the other way, but honestly I'm not sure and will have to think about this.

2nd ornament with chunky frit , can you recommend specific colors that behave that way?

I'm not really versed in all the color numbers/brands, etc. What I do know is that there are hard and soft colors. A lot of opaque colors-whites, pinks, creams, etc-can be really soft. A lot of red-ish colors are stiff. In this case I think I'm using Reichenbach Fucia over a light opaqe pink. Light Rose or something. It takes experimentation, but that's the fun part!

I've always wanted to know what happens to the bits that are cut off. Do they get gathered to make something multicoloured? plz plz plz...

The clear bits are recycled in-house. We remelt it to make other stuff.
