Most of the fnaf franchise felt connected some how in one way or another, and security breach didn't. It felt like a fnaf game only in a different timeline.

That's like how battle for bikini bottom got rehydrated and purple lamp reached out to the most popular speed runner for the original and let him try out different things to speed run it. I think the original source code was lost so they couldn't keep the original stuff in.

One of the reasons why Skyrim is amazing is it's bugs (and mod bugs when you're using them), it flavors the game and can lead to many weird experiences, I can't tell you how many times I cracked because of silly and unexpected things like a dead draugr who got stuck into the ceiling and is now clipping around the whole room or a T-posing bandit who shows up behind you with the classic "never should have come here" while an epic opera plays.

Just discovered you off my recommended page, and after watching through the video I was shocked to see the subscriber count! The editing was great, your commentary is engaging, and the subject of glitches in video games is one I have a fondness of. I really agree with the assessment that glitches in video games can add to the appeal of a game, as long as they don't ruin the casual player's experience. Though, I've got to say, I do enjoy randomly happening upon / discovering a glitch whenever it happens. During my very first experience with Genshin Impact, a friend let me run around the map on their account to get a feel for the game. About an hour later, my friend came back to me running around, exploring the area OoB! When they asked how I did it, I said, "I was climbing around here and wondered if I could fit through this gap, and it turns out I can!" I felt on top of the world finding a relatively useless OoB glitch, I can't imagine how it feels to be the person to discover a huge, insanely useful glitch that speedruners use.

The way you talk about Fnaf Security Breach's glitches is exactly what I love about generation 1 Pokemon. Gen 1 Pokemon literally has glitches that let you rewrite the game (all hail 8F) among less powerful albeit still broken and easier glitches like the Old Man glitch and the Trainer Fly Glitch (it's how you get Mew, but it's actually able to get you more then just Mew look it up). And learning why these glitches occur is exactly what I love to do with gen 1. Like how the 1/256 miss glitch is because the game rolls a random number 0-255, and checks it against the accuracy (100% accurate moves have 255 has their number). If the randomly number is lower then the accuracy, the attack hits. Otherwise you know... But 255 is not a higher number then 255, so that's why it's a 1/256 chance to miss on all attacks minimum unless you're using Swift TLDR: you literally cover this in the video but I cover other glitches in gen 1

Great video! When taking about games that are only good because they are glitchy, Goat Simulator will always come to my mind. Yes it's intentionally so whacky, but without these visuals and jank surrounding them, the game would be the most boring thing imaginable. Shows how this sort of stuff can be the difference between a bad game or a big youtube trend

when you talk about mario 64, i think of mario sunshine. mario sunshine is a buggy, glitchy mess and many of those glitches and bugs are experienced while casually playing. with mario 64, although the blj is an oversight on the devs part, you wont ever think to actually perform the blj through a casual playthrough. there is a skill to actually performing the blj that means u can go ur entire game without accidentally triggering it, or accidentally triggering a site specific skip. although mario sunshine does have a few bugs that are like this, a lot of mario sunshines bugs and glitches impact casual gameplay. thats why so many people are so frustrated with mario sunshine: they're just trying to play the game yet they somehow clipped through a bridge and now have to restart from the hub. when the player is forced to experience bugs and glitches just because the actual code of the game is faulty, they lose agency, which then brings the overall experience of the game down. i thought u bringing up missingno and mario 64 were really great examples of how a game-breaking glitch actually increases the popularity, and ironically the longevity of the game. and to be fair, i LOVE mario sunshine it's my favorite game, but i totally understand why people hate the game so much hahahaha
