How good are Rosa Gallery watercolour pans?

Some time ago I swatched out Rosa Gallery tubes (see that review here:kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5CypaCGfdGIpdE ) and concluded that they might be a great artist watercolour for those on a budget. I then decided to put my money where my mouth is and bought more to use on workshops (see kzbin.info/www/bejne/f33Yk2BngL-NY6M) but what about their pan colours? I heard they were quite different, so I wanted to try them out.

I bought myself their Modern set of 21 pans. I absolutely love that there’s place for more pans and that the paint activates so easily. The choice of paints isn’t ideal, but I read that some sellers let you change colors (I believe Jackson’s in UK does it) and I wish there was more granulation in some colors. Otherwise they are supreme for the price you pay and amount you get. Thank you for reviewing them!

I have the 28 botanical set and I love them more than more expensive big brand name paints.

Hi again, Liz! I don't think you saw my original comment on this video, but you HAVE been super busy lately! Just a follow-up - my order from the Ukraine came last week - I placed it on May 29th and it got here on June 10th - not bad at all, I'd say! Well-wrapped with a dot card of 4 colors (unfortunately, 3 of them were for colors in the set I already had, but it was a nice thought!). The new colors are great - I will swatch them and post it on FB. A couple of great greens and carbon red and more! I messaged the seller how much I appreciated her shipping quickly and how much I liked them - and she messaged back a sweet message in return - very cool to be in contact with someone in Ukraine and be able to support a small business there. I will definitely order again!

@@LizChadertonArt I am stumped by KZbin!! I went back and typed the whole thing again as a new message and I don't see it. Googling it said something about KZbin moderating comments for policy violations! No idea why my comment would be flagged, but I'll just pop it into an email for you!!

Hullo Liz, this is very similar to the set I purchased from Rosa! I did ask the seller to replace the greens with an additional yellow and a warm grey. They were so accommodating I like to mix my greens and I chuckled when you said that you simply don’t paint unless you have your favorite color of Burnt Sienna! I have been very happy with my selections from Rosa and I am considering buying more! I hope you have a plan to show us all of your Rosa colors and what you are most happy with? See ya next video!
