To a certain extent, yes - however as it a difference in colour, even if the monitor wasn't giving a true representation of the colour, the difference should still be there. But if you have a really bad monitor with colour really screwed..... get a new monitor!

Pretty much, with an IPS panel you might have a chance, otherwise, good luck. I have a VA panel and at stage 4, 2 or 3 shades I couldn't even distinguish after they were revealed, I did get one right and a second was faint. So yeah, these eye tests on a monitor are useless most of the time.

Looks more like a screen uniformity test, or a way of knowing if your brightness and contrast are set to ideal positions. (I got up until stage 4, where I failed, even with a screenshot, and zooming in I visually could not see a difference on the light green one, though the colour values were slightly different, but very slightly. Also, this "eyesight test" only tests something like colours and contrast, a very small part of what seeing actually entails.

It's not all about eyes but the device you are looking at. To standardise the test we would all need to use the same screen. Fun though, I got one wrong stage four. For those who failed badly and thinking their eyes are rubbish it might just be their screen after all.

You're right! At stage 4 some of the colors weren't visible on my screen even when the lines disappeared. Only at the fade-out the monitor was able to handle it... All monitors don't "spread" the background light totally equal over the screen (except those high-end for photographers etc.), what makes it harder to distinguish between a brighter color from the test and that from the unequal background light. I've tested on two monitors (I have two different side-by-side), and on the second one the differences were a lot more visible. Maybe the color / gamma settings would make the colors be more differentiated...

Isaac Gaming, I agree. I wear glasses and made it through the third level and got one right on the fourth. I knew that this was a test in how you're able to perceive colors as soon as it came on, and to call it an eye sight is just wrong.

I'm not convinced. This is a colour vision test, not eye sight. I'm colour blind! (seriously) I got all the tests correct up to stage 4. I then fell over on one question in stage 4. I very much doubt I'm almost "superman" if anything by definition I'm "lesser human". I have less cones in my eyes than someone else of normal colour vision. The reason I got so many correct (I truly believe) is that when each card "fades in" the correct number is highlighted until the white separation bars reach there max hue

The only trick here is there using the only 8% pass thing to get views you watched right WICH gave them a view probably 83% of people pass (colorblind) but saying 8% pass only gets more people to watch because they want to be one of yay 8%

This is total BS. This has nothing to do with visual acuity. All this test does is show ability to distinguish between color shades. Test is also flawed due to differences between displays and how they reproduce color. If your displayed contrast is high or saturation is high, then passing this test can be done by anyone.
