Seven years ago, I was blessed to attend the Gathering of the Saint’s put on by Pastor Fox and Pastor Dowel. We learned a lot, we prayed a lot, and we shot a lot of guns. Some of the best training I ever had, and some of the best fellowship I ever had. I will always be grateful for that experience an always recommend this type of training for anyone who can fit it into their schedule or better yet make it fit into your schedule. God Bless

One must gradually increase their discomfort over a period of time to build toughness. Something as simple as turning the climate control off in your home during extreme temperatures will build resilience for most people.

Lived in Alaska outside Anchorage 20 years. Couldn't pay me to go back and live there. Crime and drugs just as bad as big cities. Cost of living is out of sight ($500k for an average house. Price milk and eggs and bread and you'll get the pic). If there was ever a supply chain breakdown, Alaska is screwed. Almost everything comes by truck up the Alcan or in by barge. You'd be cut off instantly in a crisis. Winter is long. Breakup is considered Spring and snow can start flying in early September. Everyone seems to have this romanticized view of living in the last frontier land, but the reality is much more difficult than people realize unless your independently wealthy going up there. No thanks!

We did: What was the plan? (usually summarized by a non-key leader with map or at sand table) What actually happened? (key leaders of various phases or tasks of op, with data from those special teams) What went good? What should be sustained? How can we improve, standard operating procedures (SOPs) need amended, critical gear failures? Anytime you 'leave the wire' this should happen.

There's a Rhonda Patrick video about "optimal exercise" with an exercise cardiologist who talked a big research project on all cause mortality. My take away was that if you're able to start before 60 and commit for 2 years, you're able to "stockpile" some fitness for old age. Starting later helps slow the decline but was less useful. It seemed like a day a week of rucking and 2 days of high Intensity stuff (MMA, etc) would meet his prescription. But you've got to do it for 2 years straight to get the benefits.

The Survival Tabs... I took two tabs per hour, six hours each day, for 8 days. Each day I had 3 Lt of water. I spent my normal 2 hrs at the gym each day. Road my bike to work each day and lost almost 6.75 pounds. I returned to normal eating for a week then repeated the 8 day program. Im 20 lbs lighter, Im stronger and I kick-started my metabolism. That was months ago as well. I never felt hungry during the 8 day segments. It was better than intermittent fasting for me.

like multivitamin and a big teaspoon of protein powder? per tablet? I think a jar of peanut butter a jar of honey and some multivitamins might do the same job or maybe some protein shake with that? The reason you lost 6.75 pounds is because you lost fecal matter but did not eat enough to fill the gut with more new fecal matter. The other reason is a little bit of fat loss, some muscle loss and maybe (maybe not) water loss. What is the goal of the tabs for you? It helps you sort of fast easy? 'food' in case of emergency?
