I just bought one and had the same issue with the throttle. Just tighten the bolts on it and you'll be fine afterwards.

i was tearing the ground on turns too with my Hustler Super S (stander). The way i finally taught myself to quit was basically doing a 3 point turn around until i got the hang of it. Idk if that will help you but that's how i taught myself to fix the problem.

Great to see you're back. Can't wait to see some video's on the walkers! I ran a B23i with a 52" mulch last year and added a B23i with the new 56" side discharge for this year. I'm excited to get out and run them. Got rid of a ferris 3200 61" for the walker 56" sd. Just can't beat the cut quality of the walkers.

If you don't already have it, I recommend you get the Kohler diagnosis software and cable. It's $500 but when your efi starts acting strange it's 100% easier to figure out with the software then the MIL codes. I think my t25i is haunted.... Ya great cut quality though....

residential zero turn I started with the throttle would go down as you're riding as well I had to put a bungee on it to keep it running at full throttle It gets annoying after a while lol

I bought the Husq V548 brand new. Right out of the box it had a couple super annoying issues. 1) The throttle would NOT stay where you put it and would drop down to half throttle before the end of one 50 foot pass. 2) The parking brake would NOT hold the mower in place at all and would slide all over the place in the trailer and roll down inclines even with the brake on. 3) It smoked heavily upon cold start-up every time. It was as if oil had drained down into the cylinder from the valve guides after sitting for an hour. 4) The stock rear tires that came on it from the dealer absolutely DESTROYED the grass when turning at any kind of angle or speed other than gently creeping (even during a properly executed zero-turn/not a pivot). 5) The control bars weren't balanced. To keep it driving straight you had to press one lever farther forward than the other quite a bit. After 19.5 annoying hours of operation I finally took it back to the dealer and asked them to "fix it" since it was still under warranty. They solved everything except the smoking upon cold startup and the crappy rear tires. Despite these complaints I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this mower. It is my goto mower out of my fleet for EVERYTHING under an acre that doesn't need bagged.

@@Camo-Dan Like I say, despite all the things that were out of whack when I got it brand new (which were all fixed under warranty) I absolutely LOVE this thing. The deck is SOLIDLY BEEFY, as well as it's hangers. It's been dead reliable for three years now. I have over 750 hours on it and I've only had one problem with it so far and that is, I can't seem to keep the grease covers on the front axle spindles. I keep losing them. They're 2 bucks a piece, so I ordered a bad of them and I just pop one on when I lose it. This is the only mower in my fleet that mows flawlessly at full-speed. And it's dead reliable, so far. Side Note: I do have to do T-turns though, to keep from tearing up the grass on 180 turns. But this is due to the tread pattern on my wheels not the mower. And yes, the frame is as beefy as it looks. It's rock solid.

I'm glad your doing a video on the v554, we need more on that mower. Redmax uses the same model a CV54, but has a better color scheme. I own this mower and it's awesome plus fast. I put 197 hours in 4 months on mine and not 1 hiccup. When turning have both wheel turning and make half circles before your 3 point turn. It also uses less space then others. Yours might be uncared for by the dealer. But at it's price $6500 and up it's a good mower. It will cut at it's full run speed and that's why I like it. Just wish it was in red like the redmax cv54.

...you didn't want that pesky grass anyway (3:09). EDIT: It's not you, I have multiple standups and only my Husq rips up the grass like that on turns. It's not the mower, though, it's the design of the rear tire they put on the damned thing. It's a really bad tire for that model. I wish I had a replacement tire part number that's better but I'm too busy destroying my grass to be bothered with finding one. If you do, let me know!
