I like how you can now get a + 20 stat disparity with 3 buffs and one debuff: 1. Rally Spectrum 2. Future Witness 3. Dosage 4. Hush Spectrum You can basically play with units at level one as long as you’ve got ‘m buffed up well enough.

Although I wish Laeradr wasn't a Dark mythic because of Embla and Loki, I'll definitely pull for him for how insanely good he is. Also, just noticed the lowest tier for the Dark mythics is called "Sothis tier," which is both sad and funny at the same time.

I'm definitely more excited about Laeradr, despite the awkward synergy with Embla and Loki. Very strong unit overall, tanky, and has really good colorsharing. Also, dang, you didn't have to do Sothis dirty with Sothis tier, lol.

Pretty insane support from the new myrhics, and despite Laeradr being confused on who's his actually Dark mythic teammates, I'm still going for both of them just simply to connect the Healing Hands in my barrack. Might actually try Galeforce Nidhoggr/E!Sigurd Nidhoggr as I don't really need a Far Save in my Astra atm.

The hope I had was Nidhoggr in Dark and Laeradr as Legendary, but tbh I really don't mind he has anti synergy with Embla and Loki, it makes the AR-D archetypes "interesting" where you just simply don't put Laeradr in an Embla/Loki team and call it a day.

Eh, I have Seidr in Astra and NY.Seidr in light. Seeing a Canto curb doesn't discourage me from using them since I just make sure to take out the unit with it equipped. I dont use them much these days, though, since units have so many actions that their end turns are almost never needed.

Læraðr is one of my favorite additions to FEH because of how uniquely interesting he is. Using a unique buff like Assigned Decoy to work against the player is super intriguing to me, I’m sure it’s toxic af but it’s just so cool to me

I don't think it's toxic. I like it because it makes you change how you build an offense team. This is also a much needed nerf to Shield Fighter on offense since it goes unchecked in most instances right now.

I had a funny thought of giving barricade to bride nailah. She's infantry so she can use spike wall and barricade, she has +1 move, canto and isn't slowed by terrain. She also has special spiral in her weapon so she could use the DR beast specials. Biggest disappointment with this banner is tree dude, why? Because he's dark (like seriously why? He works terribly with the only 2 other good dark mythics). I need both for my beast collection and if another beast rearmed or attuned comes out barricade is going on all my beast units

I was admittedly a bit dismayed upon seeing Læraðr's kit--particularly w/Barricade. But most likely it's just the top defenses that will be unbearable w/him, which I can probably just avoid by not playing AR immediately all the time. Ik one workaround is a dancer w/WoM echo + pass, but unfortunately my Felix is +1 so he needs a WoM4 dancer (my own fault ofc). And anyway, worst case scenario we just wait it out and IS will release counters (like pass Echo). Thanks for this fantastic vid! I always greatly enjoy these tier lists.

This game gets less and less fun as they release newer units. Like each new unit has to be broken or else there’s no point in making them. And now you just have to get the new unit or else you can’t win in arena. Too many nukes in this game. You just can’t really win with older units. Which sucks, because I enjoyed when, with enough work, you could genuinely make any unit viable. But now, so many units just get deleted by these newer units. I’m talking like units released during book 7 and 8.

Tbh, you may be able to get close, but the point is that in Fire emblem, you are always able to use the units you want and have a chance if you do it right. It’s not impossible or buttfuck difficult to do. This game has gotten way to nuke heavy. Essentially if you can’t one shot your opponent, in most cases that unit will just die. That’s not how fire emblem works. If you can’t understand what I’m talking about, then you need to play the mainline games.

As I explained, laeradr inflicts (assign decoy) which is considered a "bonus" and Loki erases "Bonus" status of foes. She undoes the annoying thing he is trying to do.

I don't see how Laeradr is better than Nidhoggr? Every time I fought him, I beat him with ease with a +0 emblem Sigurd while Nid was unbeatable if her debuff procs. Try fighting multiple Nids when you can't escape her debuff it makes the fight impossible to win. Don't know if anyone has similar experiences to me?

I've been playing this game for years now, collected hundreds of very strong units. This new bound hero map? Literally impossible, not a single unit in my barracks of 300+, merged units can make a dent in these two. Can't even get them to half health, NOTHING DOES DAMAGE TO THEM! I can't even unlock the hardest difficulty I can't even touch Infernal difficulty. I've fully completed every single maddening map up to this point even Emblem Ikes ridiculously unfair map. But this one? I'm not even mad, because there is literally no combination of heroes I own that can kill a single one of these two. For the first time since i've started my feh file I literally just hit a road block, I can't beat this map. The power creep has gone to far there is literally nothing I can do here. Not even units that barely came out a month ago can do damage. Is this only happening to me?

@@goroadachi9489 Never tried sigurd but I did try many AOE spam methods but none seemed to work. A healer spawns at the top right that heals any damage you've done to them thus far and a tactical nuke ninja that can cross the entire map spawns at the very top left. I couldn't figure out how to deal with them both before either of them could ruin the run. In the end I just summoned for the dumb drunk unit and pinned her against the entire map. Eventually that won though I feel robbed

Why are defense mythics the most obnoxious? If this continues I'm just going to stop playing Aether raids... Laeradr stop save teams, Galeforce teams (with the warping stop), needs nukes to kill and make the complexity creep even worse because you now have to calculate defense stats of your whole team (or play 3 spaces away). Moreover he is going to be played with Felix and Sigurd, so you have to be able to Omnitank them and stop their movement/warping... Feh is supposed to be a game of rock/paper/scisors but some units feel like they have no counter (especially if paired with another broken unit). Good luck trying to using near savior against Celica ring Felix when Laeradr is here.

I don’t know, the Nidhog seems like the next E Ike. I had him and Sigurd on my team, and she was nearly impossible to kill. Took Ike and Sigurd chip damage, and Ike taking massive hits, barely surviving, to finish her. Just my opinion.

So the options to tank in Light now: -Only support from 3 spaces, which a) means no BoL4, the most important support effect in the game and b) means warpers and units like Felix can potentially murder your units because no savior -Only support using high def supporters / try to match your units defenses, which is so restrictive as to become unviable. Infantry Emblem FTL. They really want one movement to tank everything, teleport around and kill everything on the same character. Why is an entire movement type totally disabled for tanking when it has no offense whatsoever, separated into two for differing range, then barred from several modes while infantry does it all with no counters? Gonna just go back to skipping dark season again, CBA with stupid design.
