HOW GOOD IS THE BMW F900XR??? WOULD I BUY IT?

I Ride my BMW R1250 GS Adventure to get the Service done and get the New Conti Road Attack 4 Tyres Fitted. I was hoping to get the BMW S1000XR as a loan Bike. No Luck, but am I happy with the F900XR?
This BMW F 900 XR would not have been a first choice (at First). After 3 Days out on this Motorcycle, I can firmly say that I started to really love it! This handsome middleweight adventure sports Bike is very capable! It is Fast and Comfortable with both commuting and touring capabilities.

Thank you for the video! Just a minor critique: you should treat her gentle till the oil and engine is warm. I think BMW need to really Think!! About upgrades on their rubbish seats. The 9RT needs a comfortable gell seat that gives the pillion comfort then they should give you a grill rack to pop your stuffa bag on! Me, iam looking at the XR TE I test rode one in Serbia and bloody loved it, on face value the seat does its job but they could improve the rear pillion to be less hard! The seat in the F900XR looks better than the XR TE it looks good. But, is it ? I want a bike with a bit of oomph not sure the F900XR is the one having ride the 165 bhp TE. Hummmmm I think I'll stick with the XR for the full monty 165 bhp, it will be brilliant for European touring with my wife on the back plus it's got the 2 bags thrown on the side... It's got lots of grunt and attitude which I love. Fir a second bike I would love a 9T, again BMW the seat you have used is ...t How on earth can a pillion sit on the plank strip of a seat like that .... Only cure us to fork out 500£ on a normal round rear leather seat, then the other quick change is the Spring which everyone complains about as being rubbish that's another £500 quid gone... BMW this is not good paying serious money for a bike then having to correct your f ups is a joke surely you know this. Start upgrading the Comfort side if your options ,put a good Wilbers s spring in it from standard .. and not having a fuel guage on one if the 9T,s is a joke... 12 grand £ and I have to guess when it's going to conk out!!!! Even my Ducati Streetfighter has got a fuel guage... It's always the little things that make a bike perfect, making Ng The Ride seamless is what is all about ,riding all day n night without a sore butt counts trust me! Come on Berlin ...time to think about the comfort needs AS Standard ... not optional £££

I have the road attack 4 on my H2SX and I cant fault them. I toured southern Ireland on them and they were awesome. Great grip and great feedback.

Andy. I've heard that the new Metzlers are good but I have the road attacks on 2 of my Bikes now as they are incredable, especially in the wet. I lost confidence in the wet as I had 3 spills in my years and all in the wet! The Conti Roads have really boosted my wet confidence.

Thought on a motorbike you don’t negotiate with bad car drivers you just pull back on the throttle and leave them behind…. And you express what I mutter to myself, ha ha…

I believe it is not! German drivers are unfortunately allways a bit Grumpy!

I bought a Sargent saddle to replace the horrific original one on my 900 2023. If it had been impossible, I wouldn’t have kept the bike. Sargent saddle is wonderful! Really. Otherwise, because of my own body size this is the best, more pleasing motorcycle I’ve ever had. It replaced a 1200GS 2016. Too large for me, I guess. The 900 is much more fun. One thing to notice: when almost stop, it’s much more stable than the GS which always feel it’s going to fall on one side or the other just before complete stop. I also agree the shifting without clutch is much better than the GS version. The autonomy is not great at 360 kms.
