I actually really love this expansion. Let me explain. I played since the second closed beta, toyed around here and there but never got farther than rank 17 and stopped before the final wing of Naxx came out. On new years 2018 I saw my friends play the dungeon run for Kobolds and had to check it out ("Blizzard giving away free content that didn't require a pre owned cards to play?!"). I played the run through and through and eventually witchwood came along, with another fantastic run. But seeing the Hadrinoxx druids, the Inasnity of warlocks and Voidlords and not to mention the raw power of Even and Odd paladins, I didn't quite feel right playing ranked. Then came Boomsday, and I got doctor Boom. I disenchanted all of my wild cards and built a deck. I have seen such a plethora of decks going from unranked to rank 3 that it blows my mind how much fun I was having. Quest Rogue, Odd Rogue, Deathrattle Rogue, Malygos deathrattle Rogue, Kingsbane Rogue, Pogo Rogue, Espionage Rogue Mechatun Warrior, Odd Warrior, Odd quest Warrior, Odd Paladin, Mech Paladin, Deathknight Paladin Exodia Mage, Odd Mage, Aluneth Mage, Big Spell Mage Spell Hunter, Deathrattle Hunter, Token Druid, Hadrinox Druid, Togwoggle Druid, Malygos twig Druid , Mechatun Priest, Topseyturvey Priest, Inner fire on a buffed up fraembot Priest, ZooHeal Lock, Control Lock, Even Lock, Shudderwock Shaman, Stormbringer + Evolve Shaman I'm aware things change and thin out the higher up you get in the rankings, but for me personally, not being able to reliably tech against "most decks" made me appreciate what this expansion has done.

Whizbang is a pretty fun card for free players. Not only can you ladder up a bit without having a tier 1 deck, but for old players it can be quite fun to try it out in the adventures (Nax, Blackrock, Karazan, League of Explorers and Frozen Throne). E.g. when I first tried this out I got taunt warrior against emperor Thaurissan and lost almost instantly! It makes these old game modes more of a challenge and it would be interesting to see streamers try to clear the adventures with this deck.

Blizzard pacing themselves in the design space like this is a good example how this game is too expensive. Three expansions a year, for this? Rather than dumping more and more cards into the pool, I think they should work on refining more of an evergreen set of cards, where the better plays win most of the time. More skill element, less luck. Since the game is so late in the life cycle, forget about new players and start catering to the longtime players with large card collections. Create more of a stats system. Win-loss statistics. Give us any statistics.

In Hearthstone We've seen throwing in form of a Monster Hunt boss that destroyed friendly minions and dealt damage equal to their attack to enemies. I always use a form of throwing that basically forces two minions to trade. If I'll throw a 2/2 Venomizer at a 6/5 Lord of the Arena they trade. The difference between my version of throwing and trading is that it ignores Taunt and you can throw 0 attack minions ( Even though they deal no Damage. ) Your version of throwing minion is interesting in a way that the attack of the enemy minion doesn't matter. If I understood the card correctly - You have a 5/5 Cobalt Scalebane, your opponent has a 1/5 Trogg with Taunt and Poisonous, you throw a 5/5 into a 1/5 and it deals 5 Damage to both of them. In that case it's weak in most cases. If it throws a minion forcing them to trade AND deals Damage Equal to your minions attack to both of them than it's a little stronger.

For Constructed: I play odd warrior to eat those aggro match-ups in Standard; for Wild, I hope to bring Mage back to glory....at least Star Aligner Druid is less annoying because of Ice Block. For the Puzzles: Why do they give away 3 packs for free when the Puzzles launched, but had a card back as a reward? It would make more sense the other way around. Your suggestion with the core cards is very good though.

I played the first week of the expansion and I came back 3 days ago and oh god is Zoolock out of control? I was rank 10 and now I am rank 5 and nearly everything Ive played against was Zoolock and Odd Rogue. The 1 mana card that gives 2/2 to a minion is just too much and the dobling imp too. Zoo was already good and now its even better same with odd rogue. I was also pleasantly surprised to see cards like blood knight back in the game.

Boomsday Project has some amazing and fun cards, but they just aren't quite as strong as already existing cards. Mech decks are a blast to play and are great for deck building because many decks can function in different ways (Odd Mech Paladin is one of the few competitive mech decks out there, but I've seen some decent even and regular mech paladin builds), however the current decks are just a bit too powerful. It sucks because these cards and archetypes from Boomsday have huge potential, but get outclassed by Zoo, Odd and Quest Rogue, and some of the other decks that mostly existed during the previous meta. I think in the future, maybe the next expansion or when the Year of the Mammoth expansions rotate to wild, Boomsday will shine as a great addition to Hearthstone, but until then decks from WW and KnC will reign supreme

I think they can take one of 3 approaches to lower the oppression of combo druid in wild. First Option:They can make Aviana cost 10 mana so she needs to survive 1 turn. Second Option:They can make Aviana lower the cost of ally minions to 2 instead of 1 so you might need to use innervate or coin to get out Kun, or it requires more set up. Third Option:Change Kun's effect to restore only 5 mana crystals and I guess 5 armor to keep the same theme so that the combo is dramatically lowered in potential power without also having floop thereby requiring more pieces or just not being as 1 turn instant win. Just suggestions to maybe make it less oppressive without breaking the combo since in the end it is still druid and druid still has buy and large the higher power level cards compared to other classes.

Everyone said mechs would be "the real deal" but the magnetic stuff didn't work, because it's not really aggro or combo focused, and that's the only decks we have right now. Minions are too easy to hard remove or silence in Hearthstone, buffs are extremely weak as a result. Mid range decks have been completely pushed out of the game except maybe deathrattle hunter/rogue.

In terms of wild i don't see why Barnes and big priest is not talked about as potential nerfing. As the whole archetype is so unfun as it revolves drawing Barnes or Shadow visions which makes matchups super polarizing. Even worse i would say then prime quest rogue as quest rogue could still be out aggroed. Big priest however unless you have some polymorph like effects you feel hopeless to do anything most of the time even as aggro as Barnes into obsidian statue can be game winning. Also i would say mill rogue needs to be looked at aswell as it so annoying to play against. However i have noticed mixed opinions in regard mill rogue. So mill rogue is probably not gonna be touched as the community is not so unified against it for whatever reason.

Well i am just trying to voice a problem because i care for the well being of wild as it is a game mode i like and would like to see support from Blizzard. However, disregarding that, the big priest and possibly mill rogue too aren't problematic in their overall winrate or deck popularity(though big priest was very popular in Kobolds). Quest rogue wasn't the best deck either before nerfs. It had very much polarasing matchups where they would loose to aggro and win just about every match against control. So that created a very unfun environment as they created matchups where you feel completely helpless do anything about it. Which eventually lead to quest rogue nerfing which was not because of high winrate but the environment it created. Big priest and possibly mill rogue fall into it very similarly where they are mathcups that are very annoying to play aggainst and possibly impossible to win unless they are a certain type of deck or with certain tools. If we compare with combo druids, sure juicy psychmelon is problematic but besides that since everyone can add dirty rat's that can regulate their winrate. With big priest you need to be exactly mage with poly's or shaman with hex's or with mill rogue you need to be aggro otherwise you probably will lose and i mean like about ~70% of the time. So they aren't super powerful decks but they are very unhealthy to the game.

As a viewers, I was getting burnt out of HearthStone just prior to this expansion. So needless to say, I was excited for the new expansion. Then, when all saw were the same old decks from before, basically, I actually stopped watching anyone streaming Hearthstone, and rarely watch any KZbin VoDs. This expansion literally put the nail in the coffin from a viewing experience. HS is as dead to me as WoW is, which is sad; some of my favorite streamers were HS streamers.
