How Good Is The Instax Wide 400 For Street Photography? Manchester POV!

Great shots with the Instax Wide. What I like about instant photography is that after the shot is taken, you have a real, physical photo and not just a file that sits on your camera or smartphone buried among the thousands of other photographs on your device. Instant photos are one of a kind artifact of your day of street photography. Keep up the good work.

All these exposures are much better than my old Instax camera that would over expose a lot. People seem to be moaning about the removal of lighten and darken, but I think they’ve improved the meter so much that you don’t need it anymore.

one thing that worked with the Wide 300 was to hold the shutter button after taking the photo, the camera will only eject a frame after you release the button

The exposure on these looks good, unlike my daughters mini which over exposes outside shots to the point of uselessness. Nice work

@@tree267 thank you! If it's an older camera it could be if the flash is going off even when there's enough light? Newer ones are better with detecting when to fire the flash!

@@jimmypmedia yeah. It always fires the flash. I actually covered it with tape which helps a bit.

I may be mistaken but I seem to remember a review of the Wide 300 saying that it shares features of the Mini 99.

@@orokuZX Hey, I found the viewfinder to be pretty accurate! Only time I had difficulties was getting in frame myself using the self timer, took a few attempts to get right!
