The Leica M5 is one of the best Leica’s. I loved the shutter dial and being able to see the shutter speed in my viewfinder.

11:35 for me I’ve always found it more comfortable to hold across the top of the camera to make rewinding easier… 🤷‍♂️👍

I still don’t understand why leica sticks to that loading method, but overall I’m coming to appreciate rangefinders now. Though for me it’s a canonet and minolta cle.

My M5 is out for service. I think it is the shutter roller that went bad, but still waiting for full prognosis from Sherry Krauter.
