Don’t forget, they’ve also been added to the German map. So there are three maps. You can hunt pheasant on, though the new spook distance might make it a bit more of a pain to use a shotgun.

I do need to try Hirsch still, *but* I’ve got a Rancho hunt upcoming and I kinda think it’s not a spook distance thing so much as a lack of cover on the new maps they’ve been added to

they should introduce the red legged partridge instead of pheasant, Wood pigeon and thrush would also be a good addition as they are among the most hunted small game species in the Iberian peninsula.

I have had issues on Colinas where the animals don't spook. I walked up on a herd of hogs and shot every single one and none of them ran they just stood there.

Hey Flinter I had an idea for cotw I was thinking they should add squirrels in the game and for the next weapon pack I was thinking of an air rifle and air pistol pack to and for something else that can hurt you in the game I think that snakes would be cool too

All the maps are doing that, its not always but from time to time they will just hang around as if you don't exist. Last night I tried my luck on SRP hunting some Turkey, I call in a bunch of them, take about 5 out and move to pick them up while I am reloading. I look up and a Diamond RM Elk is standing 20 meters away watching me pick up these turkeys like no big deal. I fumbled through my loadout to make sure I had something to get him with before he took off. Afterwards I started thinking as easily as they spook now why was he just hanging out after I blasting all those turkeys with the shotgun. The Elk did say "fleeing" just as I was about to fire but he still wasn't really moving. I have also seen similar things with moose and whitetail on NE

Been playing this map recently and the animals being stuck or constantly fleeing is a map issue although with the new spook changes it makes it ass because sometimes animals just spook for no reason from what I have noticed. Actually the new spook changes have made the game worse to me.

You won’t get the score for pheasants on the ground. It will just say “grounded”
