Ive had my 6" lift from RC on my 2017 Silverado 1500 for over a year now. Made a couple 4hr trips on highway as well as some offroading in Pa mountans and not an issue and rides well off road as well as off. Just remember to retorque as recommended!

@@dorothywilliams5824 make sure the bolts used to install lift kit are gone over and torqued again just to make sure everything is tight!!! Should be done on every lift kit after installation after 500-1000 miles, per whatever brands recommendations

I’m getting a Rough Country 4 inch Lift on my 2014 Ram 1500. But before I do I bought everything for my front steering and suspension and the rear new. I’m talking upper and lower control arms in the front. CV axels, CV boots, tie rid endings etc. that way the new lift will be sitting on new suspension. That way when the wearing and tearing happens. It’ll be a little more manageable. If you’re going to do it, might as well do it right and save the yourself a huge headache in repairs and mechanic visits.

Thank you for a honest review. Rough country gets a real bad rap on some of these threads. I'm pretty impressed with all of my rough country stuff except for the factory paint. I repainted everything and clear coat over it before I installed it.

Tires have a HUGE impact on ride quality. I have a 3.5 inch RC lift on my 22 tundra. Ride was great with Mickey T Baha Boss, but PERECT with KO2's. I love KO2's!! Quiet and soft.

I have a Procomp lift on my ram with a RC upper control arms. RC V2 Shocks. And M2 coilovers on the front. I added all this RC stuff recently after have a Procomp lift for 4 years as an upgrade. So basically I have Procomp RC 😂

Dude great video I did get the struts and airbags but I was on the fence with the price difference being 1800 thanks for the great review and input.

I'm not sure about your kit but on my 16 you mount the shock bodys up and the strut rod down that may effect ride quality in the back

Truck looks good man, I will say even with the vertex coilovers up front the ride is still stiffer than stock, but that is expected with any lift kit. Just a heads up those are the N3* shocks I do not believe they make an N2 shock. I think that will be my next change to mine either getting fox shocks or the piggy backs in the rear as I feel the back is a bit more jarring with the N3 shocks I have.

Owe a 2003 dodge ram quad cab.. and going to reach out to the guys and see if they can make a vertex coilovers for the front and back for it. The lift itself is good..

This all depends on how much off-roading and how much vigorous off roading you will be doing. Former RC now on a BDS I’m gonna be honest maybe I’m just trippin but I don’t feel that much of a difference. Definitely not a $3k difference. If you ain’t flexing like nobodies business, just get the rc man

What’s the size of the spacer is on your front end? Reason I’m asking is cause I just had my 6inch rough country kit installed and the spacer is marking 5 1/2 and not a exact 6
