Hello Sir, Perfect Video ❤ Gurkha BS6 Oct-2022 model abhi 10,000 kms chali hai. 5000kms, 8000kms & 10,000kms pe engine-oil change hua hai. Running Gurkha me Oil Lamp glow nahi karta lekin jab idling pe garam Gurkha khadi karo to Oil Lamp glow karne lagta hai jo dash-meter ke lower right corner me hai. 50 kms ke upar chal ke jab garam hoti hai Gurkha, local 15-20 kms ke drive me nahi. Oil pressure sensor change hua service centre me & engine oil bhi change hua sath-he-sath 10,000kms pe, Lekin ab bhi Oil Lamp indicator glow karta hai engine-idling position pe jab Gurkha garam ho jati hai, overheating ka issue nahi hai. Apse request hai ki kindly solution batayen, Force Motors wale abhi solution nahi nikal pa rahe. Aane wale Dussehra/Puja Vacation me mai family lekar Gurkha se lambi trip karna chahta tha 5000kms ke upar, Par ab lagta hai Gurkha pe trip cancel karna hoga. Aap pe bharosa hai, kindly help. Thanks and regards, Sushil.

Aapne ek baar yeh check karna hai ki oil level kitnaa hai. Agar zaroorat se zyada oil hoga tabb bhi yeh Oil indicator glow kar sakta hai. Where are you based sir?

@@IndianOverlander Oil level thoda jyada tha, lagbhag 500ml, 1500 kms chali thi, tab problem shuru hui thi. Old oil ko replace karke fresh engine oil correctly 7 litres measure karke fill kiya gaya, lekin fir bhi oil lamp glow karne laga idling pe jab Gurkha garam ho jati hai. Oil pressure sensor change kiya gaya lekin issue persists. Thanks, Sushil, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

Nice Vlog. FM Gurugram garage service being so prompt is a welcome sign. I saw your Gurkha underbelly shows rust signs. I suggest to do underbody coating 'before' rains. Unfortunately, FM does only rust-resistant paint. Ideal is rubberized paint which protects the belly as also acts as a sound insulator. But in all, your Gurkha rocks!!😍🤞👍

As always, very nice vlog. Maintenance cost is really well below the competition. I really wish they maintain this quality consistently on all service centers throughout India. Any idea why Gurkha 5 door is delayed so much? Other new upcoming 6/7 seaters are really eating up the market, especially new Safari, though it FWD and with all Chinese Christmas lights all over it

I think now waiting for the new model year. Should actually have been out by October end November but people tend not to buy cars in December. That may be a reason and also probably testing of the Adblue system. Adblue really seems to be causing issues in a diesels. Thank you for your kind words.

I've made a 30,000 km review and posted it in one of the earlier videos ji. Pelase do watch it. Miekage is around 9 to 10 kmpl for me with the tyres that i am using. The 2024 Gurkha should give better mileage as its been tuned.

@IndianOverlander
@IndianOverlander Ай бұрын
Depends on the price you are getting and kind of usage you want it for. If something to just thrash about offroad then its fine but if you want something with a bit of comfort and refinement then i would recommend that you extend your budget and buy a second hand BS6 2021-2023 Gurkha. They are all mostly under 40,000 kms run and have much better features and interiors. Also since they are BS6 (without need for AdBlue) they will not cause any issues with authorities.

Dear Sir, As a fellow Team-Bhpian, I believe you are the right person to address this question: Is the Gurkha a 'Good Quality and Well-Built Car'? I have specifically chosen these words for your consideration. + Is the quality of parts subpar compared to the Thar? + The need for owners to visit the ASC every 4 months raises the question: Does the company lack confidence in the product? + The prevalence of significant part failures, as reported on forums and in various KZbin videos, prompts the question: Are low-quality and inferior materials used in the Gurkha? = Overall, is the Gurkha an "Inferior Quality Product" compared to the Thar? I eagerly await your insights on this matter. Thank you.
@IndianOverlander
@IndianOverlander 8 ай бұрын
-Thank you for your query. I am not trying to sound defensive or take a defensive position here, but are you aware of the various KZbin videos and various Team Bhp writeups regarding issues with the Thar? There are many there. Neither vehicle is superior or inferior with regard to each other. -The 4 month service checkup interval is probably carried over from the Commercial Segment Vehicles like Trax, Toofan and Traveller all of which cover significant distances in 4 months. In my other diesel vehicles like Fortuner and Endeavour Oil change was carried out once every 6 months but in the Gurkha its changed once every 8 months. This means that the Gurkha engine can run for longer with the same engine oil. That does not make the Toyota or Ford engines inferior does it. 🙂 -I am not stating that the Gurkha is a perfect product. It has its issues which the company does make an effort to resolve. -The main areas where i have seen failure are seals. Like gear box seal or bearing seals. These were fixed in my Gurkha and the issue did not recur. -There was a recall for knuckle bolt retorquing in a certain number of Gurkhas which was carried out in mine too as a preventative solution by the company before the issue arose in mine. -Many issues have been reported of CV joint Boor tearing. This is mainly in Gurkhas where lift kits have been installed incorrectly without altering of CV boots. -someone's radiator got jammed up due to offroading in deep muddy slush and that caused engine overheating and AC not working. This was because he failed to get it washed immediately after going through that slush pit. -coolant leakage issues have been also reported in some Gurkhas from where the coolant recirculates to heater inside the vehicle cabin. This is being looked into also. Also must state that it has not occurred in my vehicle. As such quality of parts are not at par with Toyota but are not so bad as too make the vehicle unreliable. -The kind of service carried out in this video would have costed 2.5X in other vehicles like Fortuner or Endeavour. This could also be that the parts they use are significantly more expensive as they are of higher quality. With Force all parts are made in India and are cheap to replace but that also may come with a lower quality when compared to the higher segment vehicles. Its a trade off basically if you get what i mean.

The BS6 version is now unavailable. So you will have to wait for the BS6.2 unless u are comfortable with a used BS6. There are a few available and considering that BS6 was launched in 2021 they are still fairly new.

Sir, so we have to do oil change every 8 months ? What if we only drive 2000km ? Do I need to still change oil? What will be the yearly maintenance cost ? Pls reply..
@IndianOverlander
@IndianOverlander 20 күн бұрын
Even if you drive 500 kms in a year. Oil change has to be done as per schedule. It comes to about 6 to 8 thousand for a general service with oil change.

How do we check the engine oil level?
@IndianOverlander
@IndianOverlander 8 ай бұрын
The same as in every other car on the planet. Engine oil dipstick when the engine hasn't been started in the morning. Or at anytime after the engine has been switched off for about 30 to 40 minutes.

@@OrangeGurkhaGuy Oh Sorry! I misunderstood the question. Its adjacent to the two diesel filters. There is a thick hosepipe next to it and the dipstick is just under and next to that.

Not the whole underbody. Just where the paint peeled off on the diesel tank protection plate while offroading. Just needs a coat of rust proofing.
