He scored some of the best goals I've ever seen in my life, yet he's never mentioned in the same vain as strikers that came after him, like Rooney or Van Nistelrooy. The thing is how long he lasted. You would never see a player like that other Scholes last than long with ONE club. Even as he got older and couldn't make the same runs as he did when he was younger, he got better with passing and crosses. To last that long is just amazing.
