I get that POC representation will draw some newbies in and gain some money for representation points, but honestly, in my opinion, having Annabeth be black would lose potential money, wouldn't it? Because a majority of the people who would buy and watch the PJO series would be the fans who read the books. And many of them were/are angry or just disappointed in the change. I don't know.

Its like that because for the Disney + series they casted a darker skinned girl. Nothing wrong with that!! I trust Rick and I know he cares about how good the actor is :)

Yes. Her original design in the books has her with a white skin (tanned from the sun), blonde hair curled like a princess and grey eyes
