i am from Nepal. Sir had told in gorkha regiment commander have to communictte in nepalo language. I think it may be a protocal may held between nepal government and other nation those who recruit gorkha army. Even in UK and Singapore army their commander communicate with them in nepali language.

Gorkha is original belongs to nepal but their are some from India also because the people who stay in india their roots are connected to nepal that's why gorkha regiment taken them if their is no roots connection with Nepal in past generation they can't join gorkha regiment.
