People found .Hack//Sign boring?? How?? I loved this anime. The music is amazing and the games were great too. Log Horizon is pretty gud and I didn’t care too much for Sword Art but .Hack was da bomb. Awesome video.

I watched it when I was a kid and am watching it again for the nostalgia, and yeah, it's pretty boring now that we have so many trapped in a game animes. That and isekais

I actually loved this show, and yes the soundtrack is amazing. I really like how the game seamlessly transitioned from the show. I also like how we got the full back story on Skeith.

It's been years since I watched this anime and the soundtrack always stayed with me. Decided to watch this anime again and came across your video in the search for episode one and I'm glad I gave it a try. Good video man

I like how .hack//sign started off Bee Train's long line of sneaking yuri into so many of their series. I'm not sure how they got the whole Subaru and Tsukasa both being girls past censorship or whatever but I'm glad they did because they went on to create my favorite anime, Noir. And the one thing that I think made SIGN memorable to me was the music. Yuki Kajiura is one of the best anime composers and her soundtrack made it unforgettable even if the story itself wasn't memorable.

This is excellent!!! Wow, I am such a fan of the way you broke this down and your comedy and pacing! Very pleased to found this!

Thank you so much for doing these videos! I love the new trend of video-essay things on youtube and .hack (be it the games, anime, books, or OVAs) has always been my favorite media of any kind. This video made me go and get the remaster for GU, actually!

The game was addicting as a kid I played it on my PS2 but the game was my cousins and I remember asking him 'can I just not play the storyline and explore killing monsters all day?' his response I THINK YOU CAN... good times

Thanks for the nice comment man. This was actually one of the first videos I ever really edited, so I can only really see the problems with it now. So having people say they enjoy it is a real confidence booster.

.hack//sign was the reason why I became a fan. Look at my name for example. XD

Hahaha, you're too right about that fucking boat and the music. I actually downloaded the .hack//sign soundtrack (because of course I would) and specifically removed that one track. After hearing it what felt like 50 times during the series, I'd had enough.

Never forgot about the show .-. Always loved the show and the series as a whole (barring Legend of the Twilight but let's not go there...)not sure why in the world you say this series is dead because it's far from it....so far from it it's not even funny especially knowing you're saying they're all tied together which we KNOW is FACT.

Strange to use the Japanese version, cause the English dub is pretty good in my opinion. I dunno if it's a copyright thing or you prefer the Japanese version (which is fine) I'm just curious why you would play it and not the English version.
@SalvadorNero17 жыл бұрын
It's just personal preference. I also like having the subs on so the person watching knows what the characters are specifically saying, especially with .hack, where the dialogue is really important.
@PrincessNine7 жыл бұрын
wait why Japanese audio? won't that trip you up when playing the game
@SalvadorNero17 жыл бұрын
Game has Japanese subs too. Both sub and dub are basically fine. All preference. Thanks for watching man.
@PrincessNine7 жыл бұрын
+Nero uh....no it doesn't. like the majority of jrpgs ported to the west, the language option wasn't possible due to hardware restraints.
@PrincessNine7 жыл бұрын
+Nero also "preference", dub and sub is fine? I didn't ask that but okay
@SalvadorNero17 жыл бұрын
See, that's confusing. Because I have gameplay of the games on my channel, and they are Japanese audio, with english subs. Spooky.
@PrincessNine7 жыл бұрын
+Nero sorry I only played G.U where that option is available so I thought the original 4 games were in the same boat. which raises the question of what will you do when you get there
