The PE exam is the hardest exam you will ever encounter as an engineer! In this video, I spoke a little about what you can expect when looking into the Professional Engineering (PE) exam. In my first crack at this exam, I spent over $2,000 on it and I felt so lost and confused from the multiple hour-long videos for one topic. I used Testmasters’ PE on-demand course but quickly hated it due to how it was structured, I don’t recommend them, the course will leave you overwhelmed.
I plan to enroll in Zach Stone’s PE course for 6-months for my second attempt, which will hopefully be my last attempt! He has been helping students pass the PE exam since 2014, so I am very hopeful. ⚡️
I will upload videos in the near future about the whole study process. If you have any questions or comments shoot me an email - wattuptj@gmail.com 📨
You can sign up for free on his website below to see how Zach teaches and how his course is structured.

I paused my journey on pursing the PE Exam due to my new role at work BUT, I fully intend to sign up for your course at the start of 2024!

Im going to take the PE power exam next month. The thing im struggling with is standards since i dont know the layout. Do they provide the WHOLE book of standards or only snips? Im worried that i wont be able to find things if there are 500 results when searching for one thing.

Greetings! Thanks for commenting, I apologize for my late response, work life got so busy and trying to study outside of that made my YT activity non-existent. How was your exam day?! Hope all went well for you! My exp: I am currently wrapping up my class with Zach Stone and his recommendations are to be good with knowing which article to jump to throughout the code based on keywords. He stated there will be PDF versions of the code provided to us and we can use the search/find tool to help us navigate quick. Some examples; on grounding we can jump to Article 250, or for motors I would jump to 430 to start. Hope this helps others like myself that haven't seen the latest exam format yet. Best of luck out there! P.S. I will be bringing an update back here on my 2nd attempt experience.

Hello, hope you are doing well. I have a question for you, and I would appreciate your response as I have been searching for an answer. I am an international student at Carleton University and currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Analytics. However, I have been working in the banking industry for ten years in my home country, and I have a BBA and MBA. Despite my experience, I am interested in changing my career path to electrical engineering, a field that has always interested me since my childhood. Therefore, I am considering enrolling in a two-year diploma program in electrical engineering at Algonquin College instead of continuing my Master's program. I would like to know if this is a logical

Thanks for the comment! Sorry, it took so long for me to get back to you. The industry has changed a lot in the last few years (IMO). Companies cared for a solid 4-year degree to get into an Electrical engineering role, but I am working with many non-degree team members and they are killing it! As long as you show your interest in the field and demonstrate that you are willing to learn more, and put in the work, these companies should consider you. So, I say the 2-year plan can definitely land several electrical engineering/energy/telecom/wireless opportunities. PLUS, your finance background sounds impressive enough on its' own, that will even amplify your resume in the tech/Engr industry. Best of luck on the journey, and thanks for stopping by with your questions!

Greetings! Use this NCEES: ncees.org/engineering/ Through this link you can select any state within the US or any country outside of the US that you plan to be working in with the EIT license. After that click the drop down box and select 'FE' as the exam you want to take. After that it will have you register 👍Thanks for commenting, let me know if you have other questions, best of luck!!
