I am glad your back John, one because we know your still kicking and two because your the only guy that gives proper reports on the Baretto without other nonsense. I stayed at Central Park Reef at the end of my trip last March one week before NAIA and PI closed down. Someday soon I hope to be back.

The owners of the Central Park Reef are trying to sell one of the wings of the Pacific Breeze in AC...it is closed down. The Central Park in AC is open for business but when I eat lunch there at the Rooftop Cafe, I don't see anyone there. Perhaps diners come at night? An Executive Room can be had for about 3200 P on Agoda... No doubt the banks who fronted Guy and Yzel loans to build the Reef might foreclose on the property if they can't make payments. I doubt if they used their own money for the build but who knows? The curry dishes at the Central Park are the best I ever ate. Good video JB...

Good to see you back! As most of the Filipino based establishments make most of their profits over the Holy Week period there will be a rush to re-open now. Great heads up. Are you going to do one for Baloy Beach?
@wasteoftimer3 жыл бұрын
I will make a video about Baloy Beach soon. Many businesses are open there now.

Long time, I was thinking you went back to the US. I spent the lock down in Suzuki Hotel. AC will never be the same as pre covid. Barretto overcame the base closure. Once tourist are allowed back in, watch out.

WB John, have some questions for you, if you can answer. How is the situation with floating bars, do they operate? Also if you know if still there, The Generals pub, Sit n Bull. What happened to the Flash Rat? Are there still SOB or bikini parties? Thanks and all the best.
@wasteoftimer3 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late response. I did not see it. There is one floating bar out (Treasure Island). The Generals is closed. Sit-N-Bull Annex is open under new ownership. Sit-N-Bull Restaurant is open and still owned by Ron. Flash Rat closed three years ago. It was remodeled and opened as a regular bar.....no dancers. There are no more SOB Dance Contests. That era is probably gone.

why, so many time no video ?

It is not fun to report bad news. Things have become super sensitive. People get really made if something negative is said, even if true. It is best to say nothing during this difficult time.

It is not over yet, far from i would say. It is time for the politicians all over the world to stop this madness and open up the world again. The virus is not that dangerours and life is about risk, this is such a overreaction. But i fear this could go on for many more years.
