How has COVID-19 impacted female sex workers and their risky behaviours?

A study led by UCL researchers has found that the COVID-19 pandemic severely cut sex worker earnings in Dakar, Senegal. Condom use fell sharply, especially amongst the poorest. HIV prevention efforts are focussed on biomedical interventions. Perhaps it's time to consider the potential of economic interventions?
