There is no explanation on the sudden stop of operations, but his instagram is now very clearly showing that he is working with Andy Elliott on a new business unrelated to cars. Honestly, it looks like the profit from having a Turo business isn't there

Unless you have deep pockets, are in a decent market, and have a floorplan loan, or Line of Credit for your LLC, there's no money in Turo. Power Host here, 3 years, and I'm finally letting it go. People ruin the cars, steal them, abuse them, and smoke weed in them. All your profit goes to repairs, and maintenance. You're just buying yourself a job, with depreciating assets that people abuse, little profit, a lot of work, and non-stop repairs, oil changes, sensor replacements, car washes. Screw that, I'm moving on to a way better deal. Income producing assets without having to deal with people, and vehicles.

There's no way I would rent out any high end cars on Turo, People would beat the snot out the cars and would attract a lot of low class renters and scammers that would steal parts and get the cars wrecked/stolen.
