irregardless of the poetic license taken it was one of the best movies i have ever seen. i have watched it over and over. i enjoy true story movies where people turn a tragedy into a positive. Liner was definitely an inspirational character and her teammates took that and empowered themselves into a miraculous message. WELL DONE

C'mon ET, Get your facts straight. Line's mom died from pancreatic cancer 12 days after Line's sudden death from a freak moped accident. She was on her way home from a youth church group meeting, alongside one of her friends who had her car window open and Line yelling at her to turn up the music. They were just having some fun, when Line's front tire hit the median and as she tried to overcorrect it, she was thrown from it straight into a tree that was planted in the median along with others. Line was going to go to the hospital to spend the night with her mom after first stopping at home, relieving her dad so he could get some sleep before going back to the hospital for work in the morning. Until this last December, he was an Orthopedic Surgeon at UIHC. He retired at the end of last year and is doing fairly well, all things considered.

This is amazing! I love this movie and I about cried.(the only read I DIDNT is mascara). I have one question though, was this movie actually filmed in the real school that Line and Kelly went to?
@survivrs6 жыл бұрын
LIVandME Some of it was, but a lot of the filming was done in Canada because of the costs.

You're welcome LIVandME!! I learned about that the night the movie had it's premier. Brez was there to sign and/or sell books, and there were at least 3 tv stations that were there doing interivews with Brez, and I was sitting close by and overheard that. I first got acquainted with Brez back in late January I think. I typed in Live Like Line on FB and there is a page specifically for the foundation. I asked a question of them about whether people could still buy t-shirts and she gave me the link to the place that had screened them. Actually it was someone else who told me, because they also said "What Kathy forgot to tell you is that she wrote the book that the movie is named after and they are trying to keep it as close to the book as possible. I got pretty excited to know I was already talking with Brez! I met one of the girls from the team, and she told me something about the movie that is hilarious. It was while they were in Canada, and if you've seen the movie scene of them making the snow angels, I learned that it wasn't snow they were making their angels in. It was 95 degrees out and they used SALT!!! I bet that felt really nice...not!!

@@survivrs Yeah, I figured it was perhaps "Hallmark snow"! Wow, that was a lot of salt!

@@dcinpa1134 There are a number of things that were changed for the movie, but like all reality movies, there are some things that can't be recreated. Every year, in June and August, there are always balloons and other decorations around the tree in the median where she lost her life. I don't live in the area, but I get there frequently enough that I see it being remembered.

LIVE LIKE JESUS ... if LINE did so, then Amen, ... if she did not, then SELAH. Seems like Line did, but WHERE IS THE GLORY TO JESUS ... the SAVIOR OF LINE and LORD OF LINE???? NO WHERE IN THESE TALKS ... just HUMANISM. Follow Jesus like Line may have ... not a woman, not a man, not a child, no other gods, but JESUS ALONE, Amen and AMEN‼☺♥

Just because Caroline didn't wear a 'Jesus saves' T-shirt or spouted 'Praise God' every 30 minutes doesn't mean she didn't honor God. There are people who do things in the name of Jesus and profess to be Christians and yet they pass judgement onto others. In other words, they are hypocrites. The fact is, Liner was VERY active in her church and spent what little spare time she had left (after studies, volleyball, church and family) to help 3 young men become the first to graduate HS in their family. I can think of no other HUMAN being who has inspired so many people in the name of good. This is truly a child of God. So if this is your attempt at tarnishing her name then shame on you. Go troll somewhere else.
@josephchristiancruz85032 жыл бұрын
@@jonjonjrfrmcali YES, Christians are COMMANDED to judge ... RIGHTLY ... and that is why we ask questions & question ALL things ... it makes it EASY when we HEAR who there "JESUS" is, but when no mention is every said ... then when will they profess their Lord in words ... after all, Christian salvation is by words, NOT WORKS. Read ALL of Romans 10. I don't know the young girl, BUT I ONLY hear what is said ... and I AM WAITING for the people to say Jesus along with the life that follows Christ‼ I really like the real story, not the HOLLYWOOD version. What church did she go too besides being a YoungLife kid? God bless you IN Jesus☺♥

Just another sob story, and Helen Hunt looks NOTHING like the real coach who tops the scales a LOT heftier than Hunt. It appears the lead actresses were chosen for their ability cry a lot and often. And scrawny Erin Moriarity? Give me a break.............but she DOES cry well. Sorry, but this suck up to Ernie Found is an insult to the TEAM, but makes it all seem to be about one individual. Like they were nothing without her or her influence. And I know their pain, having lost 2 children in auto accidents and a wife to cancer. Nope, very poor movie in my estimation, just another tear jerker.

@Gary Portell This is not another tear jerker sports movie apparently you missed the point of the messages contained for young adults, are you always so judgemental, this young 17 year old girl inspired thousands of people to live and treat people with respect and kindness especially those unfortunate ones who feel along, how on earth could you miss that, if you have children they could learn a lot from this strory, your comments are tasteless and disrespectful.
