I think the one thing that really helped SmallAnt win over Shoujo in the teammate pick was that Ant was one of the few who actually beat Shoujo. The gift subs helped, but I think that just helped say “hey, take a closer look” and got the attention… making it so that the two were in a team in the first place. A small victory in the early games gave way to massive victories in the end.

Hah, I loved watching the video man. I’m not the greatest at keeping up with the ball as it gets thrown around as it constantly confuses me.
