Very motivational! I used to work at a mobile home park. Right before it got bought out by new owners, I had the opportunity to buy a few houses at literally $1 per home. I let some handymen live in each of the houses and fix them up in exchange for free rent. I eventually sold the homes after actually renting them for a few years. That was quite a good chunk of change. I lived on the road for about 3 years off of that. Anytime I need extra cash, I'd go work day jobs. There are temp agencies who will let you work day by day and they'll pay day by day. That always helped me out so much! I usually stayed near campgrounds or state parks so I had bathrooms and showers. I'm not traveling anymore right now, but I'm definitely gonna do it again in the future. Right now I'm just working full time and have a bunch of side gigs. I'm a seamstress and an event planner and those are both jobs that can be taken on the road. I highly recommend for anybody to learn a trade. Thank you so much for laying it all out for us! Great information!

I completely get the whole KZbin thing Brandon. Views have dropped on alot of the bigger channels & mine since short form content became a thing. I've been struggling myself & refuse to fake or stage my content. I'd rather watch someone who has integrity over a channel putting on a show. My integrity & credibility mean more to me than views. Ppl don't realise how much work goes into running a channel bts etc, it's a lot of frickin work. I premiere my episodes. It gives me the opportunity to chat & interact with my viewers, plus ppl will give superchats, etc which brings in more money. Something you could try. Thanks for staying real & authentic. I lived at home until I was 26 and had my first child at 25 whilst living there and moved out a year after we finally bought and moved into our own house. My partner also moved back into his parents while we saved for a house too. Living with family is the only way to be able to save up any kind of money (unless you have a really well paid job) Buying and selling is the way to go, I wish we done that with this one to start us off as we got it for a steal (being abandoned for 13 years before we got it).

The videos are great! I got into the cave videos for sure. I am curious about your insurance prices. $27 a month is extremely cheap. I know the cheaper the better but I am afraid you wouldn't be covered very well liability wise with that low of a price. And also if God forbid your rig caught on fire. All of your stuff would be gone. Just hoping you are covered well enough.

Try going live sometimes, that could help with some expenses! Also, I'm gonna be 33 in April, and I'm married, and we're living with my mom. It's a nice farm home, and we help her out with a lot of work around here. So don't feel ashamed! It's hard to manage even with a full time job. Rent in my area goes from 900-1400 dollars a month for 1 bedroom apartment, with roaches painted over. I'd rather do yard work, and all that instead of not living, and working myself to death for a crappy apartment. I make my money through various ways online(SFW!! 😂). Also, TFIL is how I found you! If you were not with them. I straight up wouldn't of found you. Also collabing might also work too! Like you did the other day. That could get potential new viewers! Keep up the great work honestly. At least you're doing what you like to do, and (hopefully!) enjoying it! I'm sure some days are tougher than others, but it seems like you have it together at least!

Hey Brandon, we have an RV youtube channel about 50K subs and it makes between 500 and 1500 a month depending on wether or not one of our videos is doing really well. We took a break from long form for a month while traveling from Portland OR back to florida this summer, luckily some of our shorts took off which was crazy, 10M views on one video, that a lot for us. We are hoping to figure out how to really make a living from youtube, i think it is possible but its a lot of work, and lets face it you need to make good videos and you also need some luck. Also my buddy has t mobile in home internet. But you can take it anywhere. Not hard wired. Has it in his semi truck. 50 bucks a month and unlimited. Something to look into. What you save on open roads fuel card would most likely pay for internet and then some.

You seem to have a lot of friends in California, which I'm sure comes in handy for things, and I can imagine the weather is another good reason to spend most of your time out there. The downside, you're in a state with one of the highest costs of living in the country (e.g. food & fuel). I feel your pain regarding fuel. I live in a state with one of the highest fuel costs. When coming home from trips, that moment I cross back into my home state and gas jumps $1-2/gal. is soul crushing. Would you consider spending more time in an area with a lower cost of living, or would that be more difficult without the same friend network?

Wonder why you don't have the reach 🤔.... if you still have some of that cash, maybe you can buy back in now that realestate is taking a down turn 🤷🏼... hitting the highest possible rates is actually pretty ideal, because prices will be low, and you can pull your investment back out easily and lower your payments with a cash out refi once the cyclical nature of rates brings them back down. Then you can be stoked you sold them when you did, 🤣 and get that sweet cash flow coming back in!

It was very rare that it passed as a station wagon, but you can request it when you do the title. you just need a certified inspection mechanic to sign off on it.
