Wow! This is deep. Most people love to preach "hire! hire! create jobs!" And that's just vague. But you've gone much deeper with it - the "why", the "when", and the REALITY of a business as it continues to grow. Amazing stuff

Did you build your business to scale?? Not all businesses are scalable ..I build my professional speaking business i build it for scale I build teams for research other for marketing ...etc I'm just delivere the speech. But i take time to build those teams I thought of my self as an entrepreneur who happens to be professional speaker . Know your strengths and weaknesses I'm amazing leader but a bad manager Entrepreneurs are great at leading but bat at management because they feel like they need to make all the desitions. You need to let others manage Now your problem is finding the right people And pay them for their skills If you can't pay them for their skills let them pay themselves Pay them salary and a persantage Note that you going to get it wrong many times Untill you find the People you need . 3 types of capitals in a business:- Human capital Financial capital Market capital ( access to the market . Brand that resonates...etc ) And these 3 are constantly moving up and down The hardest thing is when you have to fire someone who is loyal ? Because he is loyal but incompetent. Culture is not what you say culture is what you do and what you reward And your people keep doing You have to always stay in the field of play because you can't score sitting in the grandstands

If money was your only motive though, it would have been so harder to reach where he reached. Vusi speaking about scalability in this video and really perfecting the art of the business. Like that restaurant owner for some businesses it's not about high income, it's about the value that they add to the business.

That's a good point, however I think it will not be easy to get an investor who is willing to give R75 for 75% of your business whose value is R100, only for you to give him back the exact R75 after 3 yrs when the business sales and value has quadruple (R100 to R400) in return for 50% share. It should be noted that 50% share of the business when value has quadruple is cash valued at R200. So do u really think an investor will exchange R200 for an initial R75 after 3yrs🤔 Even if the investor will be keeping 25% share of the business as a reward for his risk after paying him the initial R75. Trust me any investor will want to keep holding that 75% share for 75% equity (R300) because the business is making good margins.
