I just love the fight in you. I kind of went down the same route. It's not right they can make you live in this whiplash/on a lease system - and in my case - barely surviving to pay someone who already makes a quarter million dollars a year. If you want to check - he is a GS14 government employee. His base income, excluding OT or essential pay is public knowledge. Alienated from kids, forced to pay 1/3 of my income to a man who made $12k a month when I made $1200, (before I paid Child Support) after staying home for years then leaving him. He used the same laws to abuse me that your ex did to you. I quit paying because I was going to starve or be homeless. They started taking my tax returns. The first one I had earmarked for a car because mine broke completely down. I couldn't save for one because I was trying to pay him. The IRS took my tax return and gave it to him, and I still had no car and was broke. They don't care - they just say "give the money". So I quit paying taxes by increasing my exemptions on my W-2. I still owe him $8700 at age 54. I will have no SS when I'm 65 because they'll take that and give it to him when I "retire" so I don't pay that either. I stay self-employed and put up my own SS. They have only motivated me to hide my money - stay self-employed, and basically off the government "grid". I went back to work for a few years before catching covid and they took it from my check, (while the kids were graduating college, I was paying child support arrearages lol) but when I changed jobs, I got behind on it again, so they took away my driver's license, again, no more work. That's when I was set up enough to say fu. I'm good now. They can't touch my assets, all they can do is threaten me now. The one factor helping me is that we divorced in Georgia and I live in Tennessee, a state that refuses to pick up the case and pursue it for Georgia. It's in a divorce court, not in juvenile cases, so Tennessee classifies it a bit different. They would only pursue it if we hadn't been married. Tennessee would have to give the state of Georgia permission I guess to come here and pick up a 54yo woman for $8700 and put me in jail where they'll for sure never get it. They don't know I will sit in jail and laugh at them, but I would. These people are narcissists who only wish to assert control over you for life, it's not about the kids for them, it's about nailing the EX. But it still hangs over my head, even as my kids get ready to bring me grandkids, this is what they do to your life.

You nailed it. It has never been about the “best interest of the children”. It has always been about the money to these people and always will be. The Title IV-D funded “family” courts are a fleecing; a shakedown.

I just came across the video on Tiktok of your son not wanting to go to his mothers house…this brought back so many memories of this happening with my son not wanting to go to his dads. My heart broke as I watched this video because as a mother I could never imagine doing what his mother did to him. Our sons are the same age. We left their Dad when my son was 17. His dad had become abusive and that is why we left. It’s better 7 years and my kids are doing great but seeing your video and how you stood up and supported your son it made me want to reach out say that I understand what that was like and it was hard as hell. Parker is so lucky to have you as his Dad! I am glad I found your KZbin channel and look forward to following you along on your hike!! Way to go Dad!!

I am 14 my self and just started exploring this whole story and is just disgusting to see a mother like that. I must say that, parker during does situations stayed calm and did not lose his cool something i wouldnt have been able to do and i know that beacause i felt that anger when i saw how his mother reacted when her kid had something to say for himself, only repeating that he is a kid that cant make his own decisions and saying that you "enforced him" into doing this repeating it for the whole 1 hour long video. After i saw the video were parker turned 17, i could see how happy he was finaly escaping from something like that. I just want to wish you luck and tell you that you are a good father.

So glad youre a calm man, i personaly would flip out in the situacions you were in, probably would end up in prison for killing the guy she was with sorry for this honest truth since i saw the " she grabed me by the neck and he along side her were cornering me, that guy would be reminded of how much time he can suffer before he died. Hi Caleb, so I was in the same situation that Parker and Blaine were. I was growing up. My dad which now I know was not my biological. Dad try to save me from my mother and my stepfather. Since I was about 4 years old up until I was 16. The judge back then and I'm talking in the seventies. Always gave the mother the kids. I was threatened by my mother and my stepfather. Then if I didn't lie about the abureveals that they were going to drive over cliff. Imagine telling a 7 year old that period talk about manipulation And psychological abuse. Your kids are lucky to have you, im glad you didn't give up

Just watched this 2013 video about Parker and his abusive mother. I was so very angry that the Police, etc, was telling Parker to go back to his abusive mother. Parker had rights. It's disgusting that this poor boy had to go through this. Just like Gabi Petito, sorry if I have spelt her name wrong, but kids/people who are abused in life, should be protected 100 per cent. I wasn't !! Physical, Mental and Sexual abuse is one big red flag. All victims need protection no matter what age they are. Young and old. I haven't seen all the up-to-date videos of Parker yet, but I only hope that things were sorted out for him and that this awful situation he was in hasn't affected his life. He is a great advocate for children to fight for their rights.
