Omg 😲 so I should be patient , I begun to apply last year September , I finished my contract in KSA ,I went back to Kenya. I did my stcw training & got a seaman's book by January 2024.waited for an assignment it didn't work I had to come back again to gulf last month.

Hello Grace , may I ask you something Sis In every job available for example Waitress job I need to have an experience only ? Experience of how long ? And if I get an experiences, does my matric certificate subjects matter as I did agriculture ? One more thing I saw in requirements that I must have an experience in a 3 or 4 star establishment for a year at least , does that mean I must find a job in hotels only ? Experience is most vital..its a requirement...try low entry jobs not sure of your gender sorry, but if male you can try utility bar,utility cleaner female try barserver, pool attendant

You only need to train with your local maritime school and,acquire for the seaman's book and STCW,however if you want papers after a course ,I believe they offer courses too in the maritime.but it's not a necessity to have all those academic qualifications
