Great question, Ingrid. There was something in the alignment vibrationally, perhaps it was a self worth issue, so what happens in such relationship is that if one partner starts to raise his or her vibrational energy, the other person's energy no longer matches , so usually in those cases, there's usually a split and parting of ways.

For example, in the case of the abused wife, when she starts to raise her vibration and realize that that she has self worth, she would then leave the relationship. As long as she has lack of self worth, she stays in the abusive relationship. There is always a vibrational alignment.

I realize that I was seeking love from narcissists because my mother is a narcissist. She has been so mean to me my whole life. I was in an abusive relationship for 16 years. I gave so much good but it was never good enough. He was so mean, violent and scary. I guess I didn’t love myself enough to walk away sooner but I always knew I would have hell to pay if I left him. Hello Rachel! Thank you for sharing your story. Funny, you should mention empaths because I am going to do a video soon about empaths cause I feel I am one cause I feel and take on others' emotions pretty easily. I think you are right about why you have narcissists in your life cause of your mom, and yes, you are also right about not loving yourself. Once you have that unconditional love within yourself, you will not attract narcissists in your life and you will let those people go that do not serve you and your life. Your recognizing this is huge and the first step in placing your life on the right path, so give yourself a lot of credit for your wisdom. Many blessings and love for your healing.
