Hi Harry, i tried to test out the demo, but i cant seem to find the button to choose the date to simulate from. the 'skip' does not work either

Hello yes that is because demo is capped at 1 month of data so you cannot chose a date since it is just a demo on the full version you can chose a date. For the skip you probably have not selected the timeframe first so make sure you select the skipper timeframe to 5min or 1 hr what ever then press skip. By default it is on 5 seconds so you will not notice skips
