This server was a really good take on SMPs with a twist. The combination of Life steal plus Power Crystals was super smart. Using those two made it feel new, yet familiar.

A shulker with too much data IS NOT A CHUNKBAN its an AREA BAN! It bans in an area not a chunk. Btw on papermc(server software) area bans dont work which is why on smps you see people forced to pick up the shulker to get banned

A competent server admin also knows how to fix either one with a map editor (but they'll be pissed for having to spend the time)

there's a mod that completely removes area bans, which I always use, it's op, so he could have just installed it and kept going.

Extremely cool server concept and equally cool video. I appreciate a more calm and higher effort editing style in the current Minecraft content climate too, subbed A Minecraft video honestly hasn't hyped me up to play the game again for a very long time, and I think this one finally hit the mark. Reminded me of my old factions days. Might have to play a couple UHCs, get back into the swing of PvP and try my hand at some of those types of servers again.

@shadowtech4671 In lavy and I’s testing this wasn’t the case, but I could be wrong since we tested it on a separate server. We tried to make sure the server hardware was relatively the same so the results would be accurate, though

What would prevent them from despawning? It's a game feature. the only way around it when building a chunk ban is to use a design with droppers to constantly shoot out more books.@@dizzyu

2:10 don't wanna be that guy but chunk-bans like the one shown in this video won't actually chunk ban you forever, just until the item despawns the only way to chunk-ban somebody indefinitely is by putting the chunk-ban shulker into a foxes mouth and either have the victim walk into the chunk, or send the said fox onto a flying machine & deliver the chunk ban to them.
