we shouldn't be looking at it as a 1 cost tho, or evaluate units around their costs in general. That unit is not a 1 cost, it's a 400 armor 400 mr 35% durability 35% omnivamp with upwards of 700-800 ap which uses it both for shield and damage. we haven't seen a single unit, 1 or 5 cost, with that many stats before

Lux has needed a nerf since launch anyway, but hopefully they also introduce the simple fix of “if Lux shields herself specifically, she gets mana locked” because that’s the fundamental problem allowing this tech to exist.

I made a variation of this comp but without mage armor and lone hero, just 2 arch and 1 ludens. It's so satisfying watching enemy board got wiped after the 4star lux overkill the main tank.

Seems like an easy fix, just nerf her self shielding and temp remove the final stand aug till next patch. No reason for a 1 cost to be crushing that hard, just an oversight by the tft team (one of many with the various broken combos that can happen with anomalies, then the go and block aug and anomaly stats to try and hide it)
