1:13 one of the most dedicated jobava players alex banzea almost always allows knight takes bishop and it proved to result in a very playable position despite double pawns which I believe he called the boa snake setup.

He allows the knight takes bishop without going to g3 when black has already played e6, it makes playing e5 really hard for them and gives them a shitty lightsquare bishop. Not trying to be a know it all, just explaining when it’s right to do that.

The masterstroke was dxe5 - he was expecting the Queen and him missing how bad things would be with the d1 rook and his own bishop gone is what what began to tilt it.

Yes, and also (a couple of moves earlier) accurately foreseeing the consequences of Bxc4. I would probably have played g4, which is not as good.
