Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. If a Pokémon faints, then it must be permanently boxed.
2. I can only catch the first encounter on each Route.
3. No bag items in battle, except for pokéballs. (Held items are allowed)
4. Must be played on "Set" battle mode.
5. Cannot level over the next gym leader/elite 4's highest level pokémon.

The Champion fight with Wallace was actually won on the 2nd attempt, the first lost bc I forgot an important detail during prep since Flygon died. Both champion attempts can be found on my twitch vods. I kept the first attempt out of the video because the emotions I felt during the 2nd attempt were still genuine and lined up better than if I cut it halfway due to the loss, then retried. Think of this what you want, but I'm still counting this game completed.

How did you get so manh starters? You get one at the beginning and then I assume you bought one at the game corner, but how to you have Serperior, Typhlosion, and Incineroar? Did you buy multiple at the game corner and just give yourself multiple encounters for Mauville City?

I get burnt out quickly of games like this (specifically this one, most recently) once I get into the midgame and get so many options, that I just don't know how to proceed (choice paralysis). Does this ever happen to you and/or do you have any advice for how to counter this mentality?

26:30, honestly you had no reason to bank on tspikes. Like you had a levitate user, 2 steel types and a grounded position type in the back. Who cares if he goes toxic spikes, over half of your team is immune to it. The play I would of made would be to switch into ferra to bate the drako, then switch to flygon and set up from there. But let's just assume the crit would of happened on the second turn, switch Scizor for the draco then to flygon to bait the second fire blast. Even if he decided to tspike on the turn you switched into one of your 2 steel types, tentacrul is so bulky that he would eat a fire blast for free and get rid of the tspikes. But hey, I never played this game maybe the Ai adapts and whatnot but I just don't feel bad for you losing that flygon turn one. Other than that I surprisingly liked this video keep up the content.

Pokemon ROWE hardcore nuzlocke! Also, if you aren't doing surprise pick and you want the easiest run, it's an easy Sandyghast pick for your starter. It got it's ability buffed to give it a water immunity in the most recent version, so it's strong against/resists/is immune to the stab of all of Roxanne, Brawly, Wattson, Flannery, Norman, Tate and Liza, Wallace, Phoebe (although I highly suggest not using Palossand for Phoebe due to low speed), and Wallace. It is absolutely crazy at dismantling some gyms and is one of the best pivots you can ask for, especially with reliable recovery

Something doesn't add up with these encounters. Even disregarding the multiple starters from Mauville, just what I've seen clicking through the vid: Both Toxapex and Sandygast before Fortree City (both only on Route 109 at that point) Both Flabebe and Ribombee before Brawly (either 2 encounters in Meadows or 2 encounters in a berry tree route since you already had all encounters there) multiple encounters from Petalburg Woods? (Caterpie was probably Route 104 since it actually appears in berry trees, would still have to delay encounter post gym 1 to get Misdreavus and you only officially get repels after gym 1 without the qol mod) 2 encounters from Route 111 (Sandile, Rockruff) 2 encounters from Sandstrewn Ruins (Honedge, Relicanth) But even if you got some weird/very lenient rules regarding sub areas, fishing, berry trees, gift/static encounters etc. what's even more confusing is how you have Relicanth and Krookodile before fighting Flannery at all, because the desert area is only accessible after beating flannery.

So I think what happened was I went crazy with the Egg Incubator. I didn't realize that it literally gave a bunch of random encounters, so I used it as replacement for my route encounters for maybe the better half of a stream, so 10-12 ish encounters. Then after the stream, I was editing and i felt "damn this is way too diverse of a team". I legit thought like damn I'm lucky af, but then when I realized it was due to the Incubator I was like shit, it's too op, gotta stop using it. So it pretty much replaced the encounters from around Mauville to the end of Flannery. I honestly didn't think it mattered that much, but seeing how precisely this game is balanced, I think it deserves a replay without me using the Egg incubator.

This still makes no sense. The Pokemon named in the OP are not Pokemon available via gift eggs in this game. As far as I can tell there's no way to get the encounters you show. Or is this "egg incubator" a third party tool that generates eggs for you and not the gift eggs from the daycare couple?

I have mixed feelings on this. It would be a fun game if they knocked off the sadistic difficulty by 10 to 25%. Like seriously, I am between Slateport and Mauville and I'm thinking about throwing the game away. In fact I came to KZbin to specifically say that I'm starting to hate this game as much as I did Radical Red and sure enough you mentioned Radical Red within the first few seconds of the video. I wonder if there is a way to make the game easier, like make fights optional or maybe make the computer easier after you lose a few times. Right now May hasn't gotten tired of taking my money and I'm about to throw the game in the garbage and go back to MLB The Show.

Inclement Emerald is easy compared to many other rom hacks like Unbound or Radical Red. Stay away from difficulty ROM hacks. They're way harder than mainline games.
