Thanks for this guys. I had a mole with melanoma removed last December and they removed a lymph node closest to it, but it came back with no cancer. I got a covid booster and flu shot in mid October and had a swollen lymph node just behind my jaw within a day or 2. Just like you, i went on and read that the lymph nodes swelling was a normal side effect, but at the month mark, i called my doc and she ordered ultrasounds. I have 3 that are 1cm or bigger so that prompted a referral to my oncology surgeon. I have my appointment with him the day after tomorrow. If my diagnosis is similar, the fuckin fights on. I don't care what i need to do, what changes i need to make, but i got far too many things to be around for, and I will be!

Bro, I can’t even begin to explain how good your story makes me feel. I watched you when I was a teenager, I loved how fast you were, and how quick you would knock people out. Watching you got me into MMA myself, got me training, lost over 100 pounds, Gained extreme self-esteem and have a very loving beautiful wife and daughter. I do not think I’d be alive today without people like you in the world inspiring people like myself for greatness. When I read that you had stage four cancer, I legitimately shed a tear. That’s a death sentence, and it’s just a matter of time. Just like in the octagon, you fought like a devil dog. You beat the shit out of that cancer and I can’t tell you enough how happy your story makes me. Cancer has taken a few people in my family that I love. It is my biggest fear. But you prove that never giving up and fighting tooth and nail is the only way to live, and the only way to beat the shit out of something as devastating and destructive as cancer. He was right to fast, there are now cancer treatment programs in the us that require the patient to go on keto diet and have a high ketone level before they will start chemotherapy, keto works because it is a fasting mimicking diet, he skipped the mimicking part, which was right for his situation given his stage 4 diagnosis and being young enough and in excellent physical condition, great job and glad you made it, my dad had lymphoma twice, bladder cancer once, and the doctors never taught him any of this, keep spreading the word!

Chlorophyll a , and vitamin e succinate type , might be worth researching for ppl with tumors (And pufa avoidance , cancer cells get accelerated growth from polyunsaturated fatty acids which are added to many foods, as seed oils often used for cooking etc. )

This was really fascinating to listen to. I did not know you were even diagnosed with cancer and for you to beat it in one year is very intriguing. I learned alot just tuning in. I hope you write a book about this particular experience in your life....2 weeks of fasting, i cant even process that in my mind. A bit of literature out there that fasting before chemo puts your cells in a protective mode for the good cells to survive during chemo. Fasting does not protect the cancer cells. A day before chemo appears to be appropriate. Obviously I'm not a doctor but there is some promising info on fasting.

What was your prognosis upon diagnosis?

They were unsure as the cancer was the most aggressive form and they couldn't possibly know how I would live with it. I could of not done what I did and ate the wrong foods and kept the cancer strong and died within the year. My neck was about as swollen as it possibly could get at the start of Chemo when I went off the prednisone. I had to take opioids to sleep the first 2 nights and couldn't turn my head without serious pain.
