I'm gonna try and beat Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom with only 1/4 heart! It was beyond a difficult task!

I think the reason the bosses were easier than the smaller enemies is because the boss attacks are meant to be easier to dodge but do more damage which doesn't matter when you only have one hit

Yeah and was guard was always significantly more up when I was fighting bosses. Most of the deaths caught me off guard 😂

Is pretty weird and kinda wild how it works out like that (for a lot of people). The bosses are objectively harder but I’m definitely way more likely to die to those random insignificant combat encounter. Also the factor that you go into boss battles prepared and expecting the challenge like he said. Plus weak enemies come in packs of potentially 5+ so you gotta juggle more attacks coming at you simultaneously. So kinda makes sense once you fully think about it

Just for future reference dazzle fruit makes the gibdos vulnerable, so it’s the perfect thing for the queen gibdo fight if you’re worried about taking elemental damage. It’ll stun the whole pack of them. Splash fruit also works! And dazzle fruit kills stal enemies like the sunrise!

If you ever do this again then a good tip is to get bubble gems give them to kotlin and then you can get the armor that trades ruppes for damage so you don't take damage

You know what you should’ve done with the Lynda fight is fight it right after Zora. As for getting the op weapons required to fight one in the early game is to go hyrule castle sanctum and get as many royal weapons and royal guards weapons as possible. From there you have a couple options. A. Fuse royal weapons to royal guards weapons as the base and flurry rush the Lynwood to death. B score head shots to the lynel and use a royal guards claymore with a high damage output material or weapon and damage it while mounting it as durability is not lowered while doing damage to lynels in that manner.

You do know that as long as you at full hearts you will never get one shot so its better to stay on low health but after the dungeons get more health

Beating TOTK while only taking damage 50 or so times is insane. But hey at least colgera is dumb easy, the fight is fun just feels odd that she’s arguably easier than a red bokoblin pack. Very reminiscent of the type of boss fights from recent 3D Mario games like odyssey or galaxy, to me at least

Hey btw dawg for future help with any challenges you don’t need to fight a single lynel to get their bows. There’s a chest inside a pirate cave (accessible by boat) on the bottom right of the map I think it’s around cape cales. Basically a free lynel bow every blood moon, cause it’s super easy to get. Drops at least the mighty 3 shot bows but I believe you can get even more lucky and get the 5 shot savage variant

With the octorocks too, you can like double maybe triple upgrade the bow. You just keep taking it to new octorocks after one already upgraded it and the upgrade gets stronger & stronger. Idk if that’s generally known by the player base yet, my experience was you gotta double upgrade to get the 5 shot

Not just skill issue, but also strategy issue. You should've had an upgraded elemental resistance set or element-proof helmet and you could've avoided getting caught in your own elemental attacks. Speed up buffs may have also made it far easier to dodge enemy attacks.

The enemies are ten times harder. I think it’s partially down to the champions ability changing and the way the enemies have been created. I don’t think I’ll be able to complete the game to be honest it’s too difficult.

I’m pretty sure you will always have the last hard save forever until you make a new hard save. The 5 auto saves slots are their own thing and there’s an extra slot for your last hard save
