Wow, you’re such an inspiration. I have tried this graph before trying to weigh/quantify happiness and achievement and it was impossible. They can only be compared to the previous or subsequent but not assigned to specific values. Given that, I still see the key takeaways from your graph and your messages. I am 21 and preparing to get a PhD in the US as an international student. And I am too often stressed about my position.

I think the biggest factor for his success is not only that he earned well and upskilled himself, but his spending did not increase much. It is quite rare to find people who understand their finances well and know the art of saving from the early stages of their career. It also proves that though money plays an important role in one's happiness it is the sense of security and peace that gives true happiness, and I think that is the biggest take away from this video. Thank you, Sahil for everything you have done and will do in the future. I wish everyone all the success and happiness in the world.

I just can't see how I can get to the US as the jobs here in Pakistan give you around 300-400 usd per month :/

If everyone in the market is doing the same things, of course getting hired will be difficult. Stand out and rise above the competition.
@kunstewi2 ай бұрын
@@FrontDevDude i get your point, check out the data it's the fullstack development that is being saturated, not machine learning not cybersecurity and not skills like cloud infrastructure management especially DevOps roles. Most people gonna quit anyway in the middle so when the market recoveres you will be the first one to get noticed with the needed skills in the market where competition is less.

golden age of IT is over. There was a time when people could get rich by just knowing some programming language and getting a job at even non-tech(not even faang). But now market is saturated and juniors wont be able to make same amount of money like their seniors. Even people who got jobs in faang 5 years ago wont be able to pass the interviews now if they were starting now(or they might not even get interviews in first place).
