You wanted to know a little more about my personal journey, so in this video, I’m sharing the story of how I became a UX Writer. And after cutting and uploading this video, I realized I owe a lot of credit and love to Volkswagen and an apology to Microsoft Powerpoint and everybody who works with it.
Enjoy this rollercoaster ride that is my story ❤️ Hope it shows you that you can succeed even though you get rejected again and again.

I enjoyed listening to your journey. Mine has a similar correlation in that I completed a masters in human computer interaction (hci) but my area I really enjoyed exploring was psychiatry. The combined two areas has helped with design thinking workshops and participatory design activities. I have a question, is learning english a requirement in German schools or did you learn it on you own? My mom is from Central America and in most schools it is a requirement.

Sorry, James, I've just read your comment! Thanks for sharing! At my university in Munich, they also had an HCI program, and it sounded so cool! Unfortunately, it contained a huge share of technical stuff, which is why I wasn't admitted. (Also, how cool is adding psychiatry to this?). So, do you also work as a writer in tech or even a UX Writer now? Seems like a really promising background for this job! And yes, in Germany, it's a requirement to learn English. I started learning it in 5th grade. But I also had the privilege to be able to attend a 6-week English language summer course in the U.S. when I was 16, which really helped me a lot with my pronunciation.
