Listening to this video made me realized that life is always full of mystery, but persistent in following our passion could lead to fruitful future. My youngest son likes anime and one day he started watching the series Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma, I loved it and I watched all the full seasons, then last year I saw your videos, I stayed to watch it and since then I have not missed any, I was interested in knowing about your beginnings and until that moment I realized that you had participated in Masterchef which I also watched the entire season where you participated, it made me see you as Soma Yukihira in person hahaha. Nick, my Great Grandpa lived till about a hundred but died a month before his birthday. He served on a destroyer in the pacific theater in WW2, he went undefeated in checkers for almost thirty years till our final visits to him in which I barely beat him in checkers after trying for over ten years. My Great Grandma is blind but used to make pie for us. (She’s still alive.) Both my Grandfathers are still alive but are there health is getting worse. I can definitely relate wanting to try to something or do something with your Relatives again. You should do that cookbook video from your Grandma’s recipe.

My sister and I made menus when we were kids too, except they weren’t really menus but more just food we liked or names of food. We would sit underneath the dining room table with a pen and extra large sticky notes after dinner while the adults were still talking. It’s been at least 10-15 years and some of those notes are still hanging from the bottom of the table.
