I had a friend in theater who knew him! All I really know is that all the theater kids loved him and knew he was going places. He was the pride of the whole program haha. Still is, that's for sure! I got to be an extra once for a movie that was filmed at my high school. It was really cool because I got to skip school and I got paid for it :D Though Divergent is a way cooler movie to be an extra in lol

That's so cool they filmed The Hunger Games and Paper Towns close to where I live and one of my friends is in THG he got to meet Jen and Liam. I was so jealous, but really happy for him. I found the casting call for Paper Towns but I didn't have a car so I couldn't do it:( the odds aren't in my favor!

It's easy to be in extra if your in a town with a lot of filming going on. you need to make profiles on casting websites. Google local ones. check them and submit to stuff frequently. once your around the scence you may hear by word of mouth other casting calls that aren't on those sites as well as casting company's fb account where they post casting calls. Also occasionally you may find something legit on creigslist. just posting this to help out anyone interested. I was an extra in Jurassic world, this is the end, and get hard and more this way.

I was gonna be an extra in insurgent, but I had braces so it didn't work out. But I still got to go to the set because my mom's job. Shailene is so sweet Theo too. Veronica was amazing. It was great experience seemed like you had a good one too.

@abookutopia I can identify with the experience you went through. :) I was fortunate enough to receive the privilege to witness Kate Winslet in action for days and hours on end as well! The movie Labor Day, directed by Jason Reitman, was filmed in my home. I got to visit the set most of the days during the summer of 2012 when they were shooting it, and all I could think was, "Kate Winslet is in my house!!! Kate Winslet is IN MY HOUSE!!!!!!" Haha I adore you by the way. Your book talks and videos are so cute and they just put me in a good mood. You also happened to accept my friend request on Facebook, which probably doesn't matter that much to you, but it nearly made me fall off the chair and you seem awesome. Keep doing what you love! 👍
