@joelfernando20315 жыл бұрын
I disagree recently Venezuela beat Argentina they have really good forwards and midfielders originally not a Football country but there’s a lot of Portuguese roots which developed Football in Venezuela! Same w France: Patrick Vieira, Robert Pires, Griezmann, Anthony Lopes Goalie, Kevin Gameiro, Raphael Guerreiro, Adrien Silva(AS Monaco) they are all French/Portuguese!
@doodlebob26515 жыл бұрын
Joel Fernando Argentina are a terrible team nowadays not the powerhouse they once were. Venezuela is playing better now though I will admit.
@christianseiffert68665 жыл бұрын
@@joelfernando2031 So the players get good because of their portuguese roots? What a stupid theory. I mean lets look Griezmann --> father german, mother portuguese, born and raised in france. Or Patrick Viera --> Born in Senegal, mother from Kap Verde (which was indeed a portuguese colony but his mother has not even portuguese roots, as she is a native) and father from Gabun, raised in France. Where did Portugal influence the devolpment of these examples? The way to become a football superstar is a hardly individual way and is not that much influenced by your nationality or your national roots. Some countries have better youth academies, in some countries the 'street football' culture has a higher impact and so on and so on. There a many factors influencing the development and I think nationality is a minor one (or not even a factor). And of course there a lot football players with portuguese roots as they had colonies fucking everywhere 100 years back. Same as 'french' or 'british' roots (whole africa and in the case of great britain, also whole middle asia). Even german is farly distributed. Gabriel Heinze (former player for ManU, Real and Argentinian national team) has german roots, also like several other players from south and middle america and guess where most nazis escaped after ww2? Right, south and middle america (in Heinze's case, his dad was a so called 'Wolga-german'). Should I be proud now as a german? Hell no...

Crvena Zvezda won the champions leauge like 40 years ago but that didnt happen because they had incredible football school 😂 It happend because they were yugoslav military headquarters club so they were basically like Yugoslav national team. They draged all the best players there. The best Croatian Prosinecki was there , the best Macedonian Pandev the best Bosnian the best slovenian and so on. The best club for producing the players is Dinamo Zagreb last 25 years by light years. Dinamo is making transfer 23 , 24 million worth. Now Dani Olmo will go for 40-50 million. Any others club in the region cant go over 10-12 million border.
