u can win with morty just play him more and you'll get used to it give it time before u give up

gotta spam his neutrals and zone people. also use his space ship aggressively: when people have over 100 damage on them use and they have you in the air spamming normal up attacks use his space ship to throw people off making them rise towards you for a spike out towards the top of the map. or use his teleport and space ship for some cool combos. Not a pro or anything but I am top 500 in 1v1 for morty and within the 3000s for teams

i played with morty and put in decent effort to learn him. I went all the way to lv 12. But i was always 3rd or last in terms of damage. only about 100-180 damage. Then I decided to switch to iron giant and on my first match got over 400 damage.

His axe does 1 damage while decayed lol he can’t kill till at least 120. And his hitboxes need fixing. I honestly think he’s one of the worst characters in game rn. His potential is to be high tier with his kit but in his current state absolutely not. Even assassins kill more early than him.

The highest damage I got in the game with morty was 413 keep in mind these guys were terrible they were using some type of exploit where if I spike them up they hit down and would never get knocked out

Dude nearly the same shit happened to me. Got to Level 10 wasn’t dealing a lot of damage with him switched to Iron Giant and with my particular play style he is a lot of fun.

I just picked up Verses and I’ve been loving morty. I played some Pac-Man in smash and it’s very similar. It’s all about grenade setups/follow ups(grenade>nade+blaster). And he has a couple “true” combos with jab+Special+dair near edge and his juggling isn’t awful with how “troll” ricks ship interacts with the environment and enemies. Love the character, loving the game so far, keep up the great work!

I think his damage is good with some perks, and his teleport and ship compensate some of his lack of speed, but yeah his reach or/and hitstun are bad

Morty is easy, has longer reach than bats, imo has better projectiles. His rock underrated, his crouch underrated. Only thing I don’t like in his kit is his space ship, maybe if it blew up right before it got to the top to add a bit of knock back dmg

Nah batman range is insane you forget he has a grapple that zips towards you faster then you could pull out your gun and his batterang is infinity more op then morty bombs

@@itzsired morty wall negs bats Projectile, you can use your ship, dodge, or Crouch for grapple. He’s not as fast as Batman but he is pretty versatile. Also his rewind ability, 💰

@@DieHard1912 I'm a morty main and I'm telling you from experience no morty main can ever neg batman baterang unless the person using the rang is hot garbage lol, also the ship won't make it fast enough before batman does a dodge would do it but 93% of the time you won't be fast enough his rewind is good but you have to time it right

@@itzsired clearly a bad morty main, I clean 1v1 with morty, out play the Batman’s, in 2v2. His ship can be used to gain back your dodge nd jumps btw not really to be used to ring out, again why I said you should make the ship explode at the end, to get knock back dmg because no one is getting caught with the ship. Also his hammer hit has a longer reach than any of bats melee moves, also if timed right can use morty teleport to evade the grapple. Again morty very versatile

TBH... This game needs a LOT of work. Your rank means absolutely sh*t when the stability is all over the place, not to mention the janky hurt/hitboxes. They need to fix the stability and hit registration before nerfing or buffing anybody. Just broke into the top 10,000 and had 13 laggy games straight. I'll be taking a break until PFG gets their heads out of their asses and address the core problems.
