Not sure about that, even many enthusiasts in Japan heavily modify their civics.. I understand the practicality and reliability of Civic's as that is truly what they are made for, but in my opinion the build he bought it as wasn't horrible, besides the obvious poor condition of some aspects. I actually thought the engine bay looked better prior rather than after he bought it. The way he built the Civic after buying it would be too stale for me, too boring. It was clean for sure but some things he did I thought were just too bland.
@JohanSalvattore5 жыл бұрын
Jason Szumski Oh I’m not denying that and I know some put outrageous body kits. And I agree that his modifications were too bland for me as well. Yeah, sadly if people don't know about K series timing chain issues like the tensioner, they can get into some issues when installing larger aftermarket cams. I know some people have issues with K series transmissions but there are different factors to take into consideration when people say the K series transmission is weak. Engine mounts, axles, tires, wheel size, differentials, bushings, clutch and suspension are some factors to take into consideration. One other large factor is how the person drives. A nice hydraulic release bearing from Clutch Masters or Tilton will help reduce shock on the drivetrain.
