Hey, ladies, The problem why you can't build an outfit is because you are missing out on some wardrobe essentials. Suppose you have the right amount of staple pieces. It's super easy to create an outfit.

Ever since I reduced the colours I have ie sticking to creams, blacks, blues & occasional pink.... I now find that I got many options of pairing, because everything matches everything.... You actually need less colours in your wardrobe to have more choices.

@@Dearlybethany That is what I want too- a curated wardrobe of timeless, classy pieces. I just deep cleaned my closet and got rid of a lot of colorful and printed pieces. I kept the more neutral and simple pieces and just kept a few "fun/ statement" pieces. It will take me some time to build up my wardrobe again because basic and neutral pieces like yours are more on the expensive side

Btw, I’d love it if you could suggest some formal/semi formal outfits. I love how you use older items in your wardrobe that are more stylish and timeless instead of being on trend. I find it hard putting together outfits using older items.
